anyone get this powerful feeling or rush on you or like weight being put on top you during times one goes to sleep after amrit vela...its not good going to sleep after amrit vela but truthfully i do sometimes and it always happens i feel like somethings tugging on my blanket or i get this blood rush feeling in where i can't get up and my body turns numb....feels like theres presence in the room

They exist but they can only really affect people who are spiritually dead, people who do not do paat etc. There's different kinds as well, one's not so powerfull and some which are really evil and powerful. Ghosts, demons, devils, spirits etc the universe is full of them.

A mahapursh told me that when at home you should read Baani out aloud as eveil cannot be around where Baani is recited, and even to let out a couple of Jaikaarey in your house as the Khalsa is Shiromani.

But there are many time's where High Avastha Sikhs come across these spirits who are after nothing more than to be born into Sikh house's to achieve mukti.

I think what you're referring to is whats known as a Witch/Hag riding you.Its when you feel a great weight or presence on yourself. I used to get this years ago .It used to be like I was awake but not able to move or make any noise but you are aware of your surroundings..

There is an actual scientific explanation for it so dont worry ...

That is a type of sleep paralysis, i also get this. But it is nothing to do with ghosts negative things.

In punjabi people call it dubaah. And people think its related to ghosts.

Which it is not.

Haha, just got one other than the one that's been posted.

Aparrently there's many types of ghosts, like has been mentioned. you got the 'weak' ones and the 'strong' ones, and the strong ones take the form of Pirs, and you can control them if you want to, but it's certainly not recomended. One Singh had many Pir ghosts under his control, but then for some reason he made a mistake in his Rehat, and for that small thing the Pirs turned against him. They would beat him, scare him,etc, the only place he would be safe from them was in Guru Ji's Darbar. So the Singh went to Baba Thakur Singh Ji and Baba Ji did an Ardas, then Singh then looked out side of the Darbar and Khalsa Fauja on horses,etc, went charging past and the Pirs didn't bother the Singh anymore.

Pir or Peer (Persian: پیر‎, literally "old [person]") is a title for a Sufi master equally used in the nath tradition. They are also referred to as a Hazrat or Shaikh, which is Arabic for Old Man. The title is often translated into English as "saint" and could be interpreted as "Elder". In Sufism a Pir's role is to guide and instruct his disciples on the Sufi path. This is often done by general lessons (called Suhbas) and individual guidance. Other words that refer to a Pir include, Murshid (Arabic: مرشد‎, meaning "guide" or "teacher"), Sheikh and Sarkar (Persian/Hindi/Urdu word meaning Master, Lord).
