Waheguru Jee Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Jee Kee Fateh

The word Guru originated in sanskrit means Gu (darkness) & ru (light). guru is termed to a person who is capable to make a person turn from drakness (ignorance) to light (knowledge).

the biggest ignorance (darkness) in our life is the not having knowledge of lord Akal purakh Waheguru, which we call it as spritual darkness, in which we are all engrosed in the filth of demerits.

from guru nanak to guru gobind singh and followed by SGGS the purpose is same : DISPELLING DARKNESS, which results in AWARENESS OF LIGHT (PRAKASH OF WAHEGURU).

To make reach one's conciousness to meet the prime lord's conciousness is not very easy, It took nearly 240 years form guru nanak to guru gobind singh maharaj. there are demerits (augun) in a person which is turned in merits (gun) buthe guru.

1. Guru nanak plays the part of mercy (Daya) which is the base foundation, like we dig the earth to put the foundation of the multistoreyed buldings. The biggest surprise is that we call the building Ground + 10 floor = 10 floor building. there is no picture or discussion on the foundation beacuse it is hidden. mercy (daya) is the hidden treasure which Guru NANAK placed in the foundatoin of sikhsm.

2. Guru Angad teaches us to obey the Guru's order (hukam) unconditionally with 100 % faith. it is called as UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER NO IFS & DOUBTS. (which we all lack s owe are struck)

3. Guru Amardas PAtshah has given such a true picture of Sewa (selfless service) that it is non compare in the whole world. (but we are not aware of even a oata of merits & blesing of the the great guru.

4. Gruru Ram das patshah taught t

he RAjyog, to live like a king but having the spritual sence of yogi.

5. Guru Arjan dev ji maharaj gave us the OCEAN OF KNOWLEDGE the SGGS, by compiling the other Guru;s Bani, Bhakat banis, and the banis of the person who has reached thier conciousness upto the knowledge of Waheguru like BHATTS, SATTA & BAlWANDA, ETC. in one ode the bhats says for guru Arjan dev ji : " tee janmat gurmat phachayanioo" right from the birth you are the knowledge of the lord waheguru interms of bani. Guru taught us to sit on the worldly fire & sacrifice ourself for the sake of truth.

6. Guru Hargobind Sahib started the miri piri system gave the training of the saint soldier, taught the path of self decipline.

7. Guru Harrai gave us the lesson of peace & quiteness. it is said that there was such a amrit in the eyes of Guru HArrai that the sangat just used to see the image of guru contiously and feel the blessings.

8. Guru HArkrishan taught us that the age is not t he factor for the true spritual knowledge.

9. Guru Tegh bhadur gave us BAirag (the unattatchment to the maya :the worldly attatchments) & from the bhagti of the bairagi produces the Great powerful leader : Guru Gobind singh.

10. we cant find the limits of the merits of GURU GOBINDSINGH JI MAHARAJ, he is a poet, philosopher, Great SAcrificer for truth (Sarbans Dani), Making of khalsa (the pure ones) by making the amrit,......etc.... (For your kind knowledge THe present SGGS is writen by Guru Gobind singh ji in Damdama saheb, the orater was Guruji & the writer was Bhai mani Singh ji.) the original SGGS known as Pothi saheb is with Dhirmali.

Now coming to your point, Khalsaji, if you see all the working / different ways of the guru are for making us to have the spritual awareness of ourself. No body can prove that the jot is same or not but the PURPOSE is same. we have to feel the purpose not to find the doubts. I cant prove that i am the son of my said father, if i doubt i doubt my own mother, (pita ka janam ki janne poot?

: sukhmani saheb, Guru arjan dev ji maharaj) when i have grown up, my mother told this is your father who takes care of you for everything, i didnt doubt, i accepted because i have FAITH & no DOUBT. similiraly if some elderly / godly persons shows some way dont start doubting it will never quench the thrist of yours. that is just EGO & Oversmartness. (Gustaki maaaf) Doubt is a filth : Anand saheb Guru Amardas ji Patshah.

bhul chuk maaf.

regards.

ravideep singh

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
