Vaisakh: Sikhi vs Punjabism

Recommended Posts

Sikhi has never relied on punjabism and we should remove the thought out of our heads. Guru sahib could have taken janam anywhere on earth and turned the people into lions. Do we know why it was hukam for guru sahib to take janam on Punjabs fortunate soil? I personally don't and I can't care less for questioning hukam. Sikhi is why Punjab has ever flourished. Nothing wrong with Punjabi culture but we never think it is why sikhi is here today and in fact Punjab is lucky that sikhi has made it so relevant. Sure it had a history, but it was a history of subordination for the most part.
