Also baba bidhi chandiye dal do an amrit sanchar every Saturday so you could go there and take amrit.

I contacted Ghagan Singh on Instagram (a Singh who does seva of Jathedar Sahib and the Dal) and he said if you have received amrit from wherever you don't need to take it again.

If you are not amrit shak then you can take it from anywhere, but you are always eligible to join the Dal.

I am not sure if they have the Panj Shastar Rehat, and the 2 kange in dumalla rehat, but then again it's all posted here:

I am unable to find Panj Shaster Rehit in the list of 45 rehits you posted. Would you like to point it out?

In any case, I think it's quite ridiculous asking if Hazur Sahib Singhs remain in Panj Shastar Rehat when the fact is almost no Nihangs do so. Have you ever seen a Nihang walking around with 5 weapons? Normally if you see a Nihang in Punjab, you'd be lucky to see that he has a kirpan (full kirpan), much less any other weapon. The most common would simply be a small kirpan and nothing else.

Once you take amrit from taksal, nihang, sgpc etc you dont need to take it again

that's interesting, but say someone took amrit from a jathebandi or committee that Nihang Singh consider malesh, sirr-muni or Bhasaurias would the Nihangs accept them?

And what jathebandis would those be bro?

Malech- This is a word used by Hindus to describe Muslims. I was unaware that there was a committee of jihadis appointing 5 duly circumsized members to prepare "amrit".

Sir-muni (mona)- Is there a jathebandi of monas appointing 5 monas to prepare "amrit"? Would that be the Sindis? AFAIK, they don't take amrit.

Bhasaurias- There are no "Bhasaurias" as such, bro, why are you tilting at windmills? After Babu Teja Singh Bhasaur was excommunicated by Akal Takhat, the influence of the organization (Panch Khalsa Divan) that he had hijacked petered out. His descendants have appeared at Akal Takhat to ask for forgiveness.

I do agree Nihangs may not accept someone who took "amrit" from a jathebandi not reciting all 5 banis. These would be "Giani" Kuldeep Singh of Virginia, Ragi Darshan Singh, and some others. Also the Delhi missionary college substitutes Pranvo Aad Ekankara for Hamri Karo Hath De Racha.

OR let's do an extreme example, during the misl period or before, let's say a Mughal/Afghan/British spy pretended to be amrit dhari and tried to enter the dals, what would have happened?

Granted. Except that that's not what we're talking about. We're not talking about non-Sikh spies trying to take Amrit. We're talking about Sikhs who have taken Amrit from Taksal, SGPC, Nihung, etc. needing to take it again or not.

Then I also heard of British Indian army soldiers being given amrit where they had to promise loyalty to the British King or Queen.

That would be bad. If someone wants to be in the Army, then they could take that oath separately.

But let's be serious for a moment, if the panj pyarai giving the amrit at that time aren't serious with the bana rehit and are just dressing up, what are they going to teach to the Singhs taking amrit?

They're not. Sikhs should be complete in both bhagti and shakti, and only Panj Piyare who are complete in both can give updesh of both.

I am sure there used to be some form of exclusivity of who could be given Pahul in the past, it was only given to those that were capable - not like SGPC....

Yes, Amrit should not be handed out like cups of water in a chabeel. The Punj are supposed to discern qualification to take amrit and give it accordingly.

The requirements are:

5 kakkars (Kes, Kanga, Kachera, Kara, Kirpan)

In addition he shall keep:

Panj Kes Shastars (the reason you dont see Nihangs where 5 weaons openly is because we tie it in our bunga)

2 kange

2 Kare

Kamarkassar

Khajana

Hazoori

(About the last 3 in that list, as long as you keep them at most times. It's not mandatory to have it at all times, however 2 kange, 2 kare and Panj Kes Shastars you do need to keep at all times).
