heard this today and wondered if anyone knows more about this ghatna/kautak

Producing fire (brahm agani) from the bellybutton is a process called ‘tumo’.

Rishis & saints etc who live high up in the mountains & survive in freezing temperatures also utilise this process, they emanate just enough heat from the bellybutton to keep thier body externally warm.

Having certain yogic mastery over your body & the five elements allows you to do such things.... gurbani makes these things possible like child’s play.

In the case of this guru da pyara mentioned in above katha, when the hukam came he unleashed the brahm agani to a high level, high enough to burn his body to ashes but nothing around him was touched by the fire at all.

I understood the katha in full but was wondering if anyone had heard about it ,e.g. in newspaper /conversation . I am sure that Gurbani unleases all these ridhi sidhis I mean if tansen could sing megh malar and cause rain and another raag to release brahm agni at the end it must be low status skills compared to the true nishaana

I have read about this topic on a sikh website recently.  It was about honika who was Prehladhs sister who used this power to burn prehladh.

Some sadhus or other people have this ability which they cant control and they end up self igniting themselves and end up in hospital. One of these was a six month old baby.

Her name was Holika and she was Prehladhs bhua (aunt) not his sister. Holika was Harnakash’s sister. She didn’t use this power to try & burn Prehladh, she had a special shawl that could withstand fire & thus allow the wearer to sit in fire etc & not be burnt or hurt.

Thanks for correction.

I knew a dude (when he was doing bani jaap) that used to heat up while reciting any bani, he never burst into flames but he'd start to sweat and become super super warm, even in cold rooms. He said that in the presence of Maharaj it was 10x worse as the amount of Power coming from the bani and being in the presence of Jagat Guru was too much.
