I think that's quite a good explanation. But at the same time its a bit limited. Not a criticism of the guy in the video, but it's not a prescriptive thing. It's principle based how you live your life.

If you watch the video, He say taking intoxicants is a Bujjar Kurehit, so that would include drinking and sniffing coke.

Not really. And that's my point. He lists four:

1) sex outside marriage

2) cutting your hair 

3) eating halal meat 

4) smoking 

So my point is even more, how about a big Mac and fries, washed down with a bottle of jd finished off with a gram blasted up your nose?

Clearly not the right thing to do, but not bujjar kurehit, so no pesh?

I suppose different Jathabandis have different rehats, so as a group such as SGPC who accept them as 4 bajjar kurehit would probably say that the said scenario us fine and doesn't require pesh (even do we all know it does).

Compare this to the 4 Bajjar Kurehits panj told me:

1) No Kesh Beadbi (no colouring or trimming on any hair anywhere)

2) No Meat and Alcohol

3) No Drugs

4) No pre-martial and/or extra-martial sex.

So in your given scenario bajjar kurehits have been carried out according to the jatha whom gave me amrit so I woulf have to go pesh.

I suppose a rule of thumb would be commit one of the bajjar kurehits told to YOU by panj and you have to 100% go pesh. If unsure then ask.
