It's spelled you're. What I am is quoting google.

I'm pretty sure quoting legal acts isn't nindya.

For the record though, yes sometimes I am a besharam nindak.

Your boyfriend however is the one declaring people patit, casting aspersions at my truthful statements about myself in the forum, and talkin <banned word filter activated> about women, and entire organizations of people in general.

Probably while eating cereal in his mum's basement, while you both get schooled on call of duty with rediculous macho gamer tags in between rounds of dirtying every tube sock you own. Thinking that's somehow being a warrior.

The extra krodh on my part is free today.

You're a besharam nindak. So there. ?

Meanwhile neither one of you want to address the guy trying to outlaw carrying kirpan or anything actually resembling a real problem, yall too busy on the third topic about Jagmeet getting married screaming patit and crying about my being besharam nindak when it doesn't even apply to the thread content. Well I guess now it MIGHT you wannabe <banned word filter activated>.

LOL proper little kid giving it loads behind a screen aint you. Maybe you should focus on speaking to real women in the real world instead of sitting around hating on others?

I agree they could have had the Anand karaj at the Gurdwara and then the reception or whatever they want at the beach venue. It seems they only wanted it at the beach for the photo shoots, which to me, does seem selfish, as most people do have it at the Gurdwara.

I don’t think it’s about maintaining a pure environment just for the Laavan ceremony.  It’s a mockery of the ceremony if the newlywed couple have just committed to have Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as the center of their married lives and to then go on and Party.  This is not expected from and Amritdhari and I thought being a public figure Jagmeet Singh would have thought carefully about this.

Spot on. Look at the furore that erupted when Kamalroop etal took Maharaj Saroop to Monaco plus the fact that Singhs have been protesting against this beadbi for years in the UK, it's a well known issue...

@simran345Must have been for the Instagram accounts...

*sigh* he does amazing kirtan though.

He does. And thats the only thing we should judge him on. Unless he did a bajjar kurehit or worse.

From that blog, i dont see anything bad that he did. Enjoying a vacation isnt bad. I think we need to stop putting ppl on pedastals. I dont think its bad for me to go to cancun, and dress in western clothes. So why for him?

Parcharaks have a life too. We should stop stifling them. Let them be normal.

When a parcharak does katha or kirtan does it bring me closer to God? Does it allow my chanchal restless mind to jurdh connect? If so, i am grateful to them. Dont really care abt anything else they do as long as it is not a crime nor harmful nor kurehit.

In fact thats how we should be about most public figures. We should be selfish. Is jagmeet singh as a politician going to support the issues i want, like sikh issues. If so great. As to his personal jeevan, if he is going to hell, too bad for him. But i hope he keeps doing wat i need him to in politics.

Ofc there is the issue of Gurujis saroop in a hotel. Since there is an edict from akal takhat against that, then yes anantvir singh should at the very least apologize.

That wasn't my point, I was referring to the individual who said the beach is dirty etc. However, I do agree with you. I think Anand Karaj should be only for those who will live as Gursikhs. Rest can have an ardaas for happy marriage etc.

Kind of a tangent but there seems to be a whooole lot of varying degrees of beard trimming going on....that or taking amrit does something to the shape and length of all these beards you see on Guru ji's chela.

From my ignorant perspective it seems like that is one of the five k's almost nobody is adhering to.

Is there something I'm missing?

Well, I meant Jus Reign's dhari to be exact. Jagmeet Singh seems to have an uncut natural one, though I cannot say that his wife hasn't had some haircuts

Another forum member was kind enough to educate me on the fact that based on genes beards have a varying natural growth time between two months and six years. Hence the short beards that looked trimmed to me.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
