Should we as sikhs be singing the national anthem of god save the queen? Thoughts?

basically if you think about it you are doing an ardas for the queen everytime you do , so would you want to use your kamai that way ?

You only have a fixed amount of "ardaas money" that gets spent up every time you do an ardaas? Where did you hear that?

Anyways, if you don't want to honor the Queen, you should move to a country that has nothing to do with the Crown, such as America.

do ardas for others sure you invest your precious pall and your kamai ... if you are not nitnemi it can affect you badly ...else it's just a choice.

Why do I have to honour someone who's basically getting paid through public taxes and lives in state owned palace and has the majority of her family and bills paid for by the poor while she swans around ? She is servant of the machinery.

if you really have a lot of kamai to spend I can think of more deserving people such as the 111 girls kidnapped by Boko Haram , the victims of 1984, The shaheed singhs parivaars, the singhnian who are looking after all those abandoned girls in Punjab , Jaggi and the Singh Qaidi.

No.

Our head should belong only to Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji, not a white devil hag who does not care about Sikhs at all and whose monarchy has attempted to destroy Sikhi and its people through countless war-crimes.

Many of us, including myself, in the west are guilty of adopting western thinking far too much to form and support our beliefs when we should try to make more effort in being simple and using only Guru ji as our source of knowledge and wisdom.

We can read about philosophers etc. and we do have to adapt to our surroundings so we do not become irrelevant in the world but there should be a limit because, at the moment, so many are unable to acknowledge let alone find this balance between work and personal life. There is too much conflation in thinking and it is taking us away from our goal.

Its funny back in the 70s Canada we used sing God Shave the Queen but somewhere down the road they stopped singing that in schools. I don't think Canada has done away with singing God Save the Queen.
