try doing some work for yourself instead of asking everyone else to do the thinking and spoon feed you... Gurbani states explicitly , repeatedly that the person who has knowledge of Akal Purakh becomes Akal Purakh i.e. enters sach khand  . There are not two Akal Purakhs only one so that  means all those who contributed to Guru Granth Sahib ji were one with the Creator , were/are the Creator thus one and the same ... Ad sach, jugad sach, hai bhi sach, Nanak hosi bhi sach  .

Love it.. Such gymnastics.. It's not that difficult really just requires some discipline of mind.. The very definition of a sikh in many ways

I think you should try and spend some time understanding the poetic form.. It is written in poetic form to stop people taking things literally but to encourage contemplation.. I suppose guru sahibs best efforts we still don't understand

there was nothing poetic about it, he literally said Guru Nanak Dev Ji melted into thin air.  Bhai Gurdas Ji's poetic verses are kept separate from his historical ones, you would know that if you read them.  The prose used here was literal, and the evidence is in the proverbial pudding as it describes the journey, the encounter and the delegation.

The same thing is written in Bhai Mani Singh Ji's janamsakhis and Bhai Bala Jis ones too I believe.

I'm sorry you think Akal Purakh is some kind of mister God in a cloud somewhere ? it /they permeate throughout the creation , nothing exists without Akal Purakh ...not time ...not space ...nothing

Came across this quote and it's apt for those that doubt Sikh history when it doesn't fit with their blinkered views.

People literally died for them, look at how much of our history was lost during 84, the attack of Anandpur, the Ghallugharas.  I think the whole "appeal to the athiest" crowd are the ones doing the most destruction. I say this as I was one of them.

Nothing like a good scolding from Gurpita and the loving embrace of Gurmata to put you on the right track huh?

Nevermind. Google translate did way better than I expected.

"It is regrettable that we are not convinced in our written history, but if someone forgets a fate, then some scholars say something, then we reject the traditional texts and chestnut traditions we have created. We should feel sorry for ourselves. That is why Sikhs have got so big a boat"

Not perfect obviously, heh but pretty good.
