The Jagmeet Singh thread

OK, so I started a thread on this Gupt / Anonymous page: the 'Amritdharis marrying hair-cut spouses' thread. It's received 5000 odd views, people on other websites and online forums have been discussing it and there's like a hundred questions directed directly at me on that thread. But....the admin here had decided to move it to the main page where I can't answer any of the questions you keep throwing at me So, first of all, please stop asking me questions on that thread....I can't answer them on that page. Secondly, someone accused me of using profanities after observing the censored title thread. Let me clear that one up by saying I do not use profanities in my life  and that censored bit was actually the letters 'w' and 't' and 'f' which the swear word filter on this forum doesn't like when you put those 3 letters together.

Now, let's start with Sukhi Virk who demonstrated just how low her IQ is when she said this:

How disingenuous! Seriously.. Evangelism is not just related to the bible!

Someone needs to sit Sukhi down and explain to her that the word 'evangelism' is as Christian as the cross. It cannot be used to describe any religion other than Christianity as it is a word that was invented precisely to spread the 'good word' of Christianity. The word would be defined as some who is 100% committed to Christianity.

Jagmeet Singh has a lot of respect from newcomers, old timers, kids.. I think some of you need to be ashamed of yourself, the guy is doing great things for our Quam, for Canada and being a role model for youth.

Isn't that the whole point of that thread ? The fact that an 'Amritdhari' role model...who markets and sells his product as an 'Amritdhari' has been found out to be a fraud when it comes to living the life of, and following the rules of,  an 'Amritdhari' ?

Quote

Who he marries is none of your guys concern.

'He' is not Joe Bloggs, a local builder from Localsville. He is a Politician....who wants to get elected as a lawmaker. But even though that means he shoud be held accountable for hypocricy it doesn't matter who he wants to marry. None of us care what any individual does and wants to do in their own private life. But that discussion is not about him as an individual...It's about an Amritdhari thinking his money and power can buy his way out of the rules of being an 'Amritdhari'. It's about him pretending to be an Amritdhari but not being able to live by the rules of being Amritdhari.

I havent visited this forum in such along time and honestly the fact that you are bashing him for no reason makes no sense. This post really shows me the lack of maturity ane real life experience some posters have.

I think the real level of immaturity is the fact that your IQ is so low it will not allow you too see the "reason" is his pretence of being an 'Amritdhari' in order to sell his product but lacking the fibre and strength to live by the rules of being an 'Amritdhari'.

Clearly there are a lot of people here who ain't gonna get a wedding invite

To which wedding though ? :) He's having 2: the one he's inviting Hello Magazine to in Toronto and then another one on the beach in Mexico. There was a thread here a while ago about a rogue Sikh granthi (Freedom Singh) who is performing anand karajs on innapropriate settings on the beaches of Mexico despite being warned by Akal takht not to. I think we should all be watching Freedom Singh's schedule to see if coincides with Jagmeet's trip there. :)

At the end of the day.....as the mainstream Canadian media was aghast that a politician of Canada's most minor party had such a 'Kardashian' high opinion of himself (ego) that he tipped off media photographers that he was going to propose to his girlfriend at a certain time in a certain restaurant. This elite school privately educated son of a millionaire is a walking / talking PR machine. Just another rich boy, like Trump, that thinks his money, power and prestige can buy him priveledges. He's as fake as they come.

I disagree strenuously with Mr. Sukh Virk ( @Sukhvirk1976 ) on many topics, but instead of calling him a girl, you could ... present arguments?

I could have sworn it was a girl BHS but, the fact that I got his sex wrong, as everybody on this forum often does, is hardly a big deal. If it was....you'd be sending rebuke messages to everyone on this forum that has mistakenly called a panji a paaji and vice versa but you don't do that do you ?  No, because you are a lemming....afraid of your own self....you instictiveley follow what you think is the pack.

And then there's the new humourless one dimensional guy from North America that likes to write the most mundane blindingly obvious things on the internet : Gurjant Gnostic :) :

Don't you have a clothing drive to organize or sleeping mats to make?

Maybe more fake news to write for money?

Or you're content saving the world with your prius?

Furthermore using a three letter acronym for swearing is swearing.

First of all Gurjant, you need to be aware that being a socialist doesn't carry the same negative connotations in Europe that it does in your part of the world. Here, it is the norm, with conservatism considered the extreme.

So lets get this abundantly straight:  You are saying when we Sikhs see an Amritdhari breaking the rules of being an Amritdhari (such as smoking, drinking alcohol, having an affair with a non-amritdhari, marrying a non-amritdhari) we are suppoosed to keep our mouths shut ?  And if we do point out that it is wrong that makes us evil and wrong ?

Seriously though Gurjant I'm going to very honest with you. I've been on this forum a long time and you are without a doubt the most pathetic poster I have come across, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. Given your personality and gift of having no gifts I think you should at least the consider suicide as a possible option. I mean the inability to spot a jesus / woody allen comparison showed your complete dullness on a humour level and then you go on to write the most boring things this forum has ever seen. The dullness of your personality is maninfested in your posting in other ways too as we see your posts appear on a hour lock basis, i.e a man with no humour and personality has no friends and has no life so posts messages on the internet at 3AM, 8AM, 4PM, 1AM, 5:30AM..2PM....6PM.....9PM     .you name the PM and AM and you can be sure Gurjant Gnostic has posted a boring message at that time. Seriously mate, I'm just saying, don't rule out suicide. I'm not saying do it but sometimes it is the answer and you have taken dull and mundane to a whole new level on this forum. Just sayin'.

I think you’re jumping the gun.  You and nobody knows what discussions have taken place about the future of his bride to be.

Nobody is saying he is exempt from the responsibilities which come with being an Amritdhari but maybe he really likes her soul and maybe she has agreed to walk the path of a Gursikh.

You think you are the only ‘Siana Banda’ who can see that this not correct according to rehit.  I’m sure Jagmeet Singh has been advised on this so just wait and see.

You should stop this witch hunt and support the only credible political candidate who many Sikhs have been waiting for too long.

Comically, I don't think you realise TigerForce, that Jagmeet Singh represents that 3rd party in Canadian politics. Thing the Lib Dems in the UK....and then halve that clout. And, the only credible candidate for that job as leader of this traditional left wing party was Niki Ashton. Jagdeep Singh brought the 3rd world / Gurdwara Committee style of politics into ply by a mass recruitment of Sikhs as party members in order to win his position as leader. I don't know bout you but 3rd world style block party voting without principle or substance is not my cup of tea. And which of his election promises delights the 'Sikhs' so much?  Is it is promise to legalize all crack cocaine or is it the promise of free for all heroin ?

Comically Jagsaw-Singh I realise a lot more than you think I do.

Sometimes the 3rd party in any election can end up being the most important Party especially when coalitions come into play.  Remember the Liberal Democrats in the last General Election? (although that didn’t end well for them but that’s another topic).

Also there is a big difference between legalise and decriminalise.  By decriminalising some drugs you end up removing the exploitation and crime that is adjoinined with drug dealing and smuggling industry.  What this means is you are pushing for the lesser evil in eradicating drugs and problems associated with it from society.  That in no way means that you support drug use.

You are wrong about Jagmeet Singh he entered Politics to counter the Uncles who were in bed with the Indian Government.  He was fed up with the double standards of then Uncles who were were so called Sikh Leaders but never spoke up on Sikh Human Rights issues.  The NDP were the only Party who listened and promised to deliver so naturally this was the Party of his choice.  This catipulted Jagmeet Singh into mainstream politics and at the same time gave the NDP a new lease of life with far more supporters.

I just don’t get what your problem is with him!

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
