I wonder if Trudeau gets offended if he met Mandeep Singh because it's got word 'man' in it. Should be called Peopledeep.

think it was changed to person years back, like HuPerson instead of Human. World is going bonkers with gender neutrality overdrive, being incessantly shoved down our throats

I could have sworn it was a girl BHS but, the fact that I got his sex wrong, as everybody on this forum often does, is hardly a big deal. If it was....you'd be sending rebuke messages to everyone on this forum that has mistakenly called a panji a paaji and vice versa but you don't do that do you ?

Up to here, you were basically fine. I thought you were deliberately calling a man a woman, but you're basically saying you got his sex wrong. Fine, whatever.

But, no, you can't just stop there. You have to go and insult people (me, in this case):

No, because you are a lemming....afraid of your own self....you instictiveley follow what you think is the pack.

Whatever, Jagsaw, I'm a lemming and a coward, and you're a super-Sikh. Happy?

You just reaffirmed my point about you not merely making arguments, but having to insult people as well.

I've been on this forum a long time and you are without a doubt the most pathetic poster I have come across, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. Given your personality and gift of having no gifts I think you should at least the consider suicide as a possible option.

Were you going to rebut his post? Or just talk about how wonderful you are and how pitiful everyone else is?

no life so posts messages on the internet at 3AM, 8AM, 4PM, 1AM, 5:30AM..2PM....6PM.....9PM     .you name the PM and AM and you can be sure Gurjant Gnostic has posted a boring message at that time

What business is it of yours if he does check in to Sikh Sangat on a regular basis? The fact is that most of the posters here post a lot some times, and other times (when they must be busy), they don't. Even if they did post continuously, so what?

Your post just goes to show how full of yourself you are.

You think you are the only ‘Siana Banda’ who can see that this not correct according to rehit.

Well, I think that he thinks he's the only "Siana Banda" period, and will insult anybody, including those (such as me) that agree with him on that point of rehit! If you ask him to stop insulting people ... then you yourself will get insulted.

You and nobody knows what discussions have taken place about the future of his bride to be.

Yeah, that's why, while I affirm the general principle that an amritdhari needs to marry an amritdhari, I realize we can't know the specifics of any given situation.

Yes jagsaw. I post all hours. In between being at the Air Force base, the Dojo and my civilian job.

You regularly drop many points that you can't refute away with an insult smoke screen.

I have no problem with socialism. Google apparently links that to the crab mentality though that you exemplify, which seemed oddly apt.

I enjoy being here so I come often. You might think that's pathetic, but then again some might say being banned however many times and still coming is pathetic.  Especially when you still demonstrate the krodi, ahankar and haumai that bought you the bans.

As someone who says they wish to protect the khalsa image I don't find your personal example very compelling. You choose to ignore a prominent "khalsa" trying to ban kirpan to wage your war on Jagmeet Singh Ji's engagement.

You can suggest I kill myself, I wont. Or demean me, that's fine as it will only help kill my ego, but do you want to own those words in your book and carry that burden?

Which one of these crabs embodies telling someone to kill themself?

Which one talks their brother back off the ledge?

Which do you want to be?

I'm a crab too veer ji or I wouldn't be here. The panj chor knock at my door daily.

We have an opportunity however in this barrel, to uplift each other.

I don't expect much from your response. No worries. Feel free to lash out, latch on to a key phrase and willfully ignore the rest.

Much love.

Gurjant....let's get some things out in the open here:

You've been making little digs at me from day one...for no reason whatsoever....and I'm not allowed to respond ?

I think if someone becomes an Amritdhari he/she should live by the rules of being an Amritdhari....but I'm not allowed to say this ?

I think we should break away from our Indian mentality of showering politicians (leaders) with reverence and respect and hold them to a much higher threshold of ethics and morality.....but I'm not allowed to say this ?

I believe all politicians - of every colour, creed and persuasion - should always be taken down a peg or two to remind them of who it is that gives them that 'power'.....but I'm not allowed to say this ?

I believe things should be taken away from the rich and privileged and given to the poor (something I practice in my own life as a privileged 3rd generation western born) . Now you may not agree with this but as it my politico-socio ethical view am I not allowed to say it ?

From day one, I've always stated my views on this forum. I'm a regular on football forums and say awful things about other teams and their supporters....as do they about me and my team. Most of my free  time is spent on skyscraper city forum talking city demographics and I and they love to say awful things about each other's cities sometimes....all good natured because at the end of the day we all respect that great difference in opinion and outlook and celebrate the fact that that is what makes us human.  I'm not here to be liked...I've got enough people that like me.  I'm not here to make friends...I've got enough friends. I state my thoughts on philosophy, history, society here..that's all I do. If you like my views like them....if you don't then don't but understand that abuse will always be met with abuse.

p.s   As for the 'jealous' crab mentality you keep mentioning, you need to know that my family is a hair-cut family and I, my wife and children are the only ones that have kept kesh in my entire extended family. For us, that has been a recent decision and all my family would rather I cut my hair and went back to my bad old days. So if I wanted what Jagmeet Singh got I could, if I wanted, do that tomorrow. There's no jelousy involved my friend. When I took Amrit I did it with the responsibility of living within the rules of being Amritdhari. Jagmeet Singh took Amrit. If he couldn't live with the rules of doing it he shouldn't have. If he did it and he still doesn't care about the rules of what it entails he should be held to account....especially as a role model for amritdharis. So I ask you again.....why am I not allowed to point this out ? And why does me pointing this out result in me receiving insults ?

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
