I think you're smart enough to figure out my analogy in that killing a person slowly is akin to destroying Waheguru" slowly (with a little car). If a monster car has a 4L engine, and a small car has a 1L engine, then the little car will "destroy Waheguru" in 4x the time the monster car will. 

So, why is it OK to "destroy Wahegur", just in 4X the time?

Come on now BHS. You know as well as I do that a 800cc Maruti will not get you from A to B.  It will get you tipped over in a ditch each time a truck passes or a moderately strong wind blows.

The Guru's don't want us to revert to the 16th century, with no cars and no technologies. But everything is within moderation. Excessive sleeping, excessive eating - all wrong. Both documented within gurbani. But the Guru's didn't advocate for us to stay awake and starve - get it? 

This therefore begs the question, why the monster cars?

@jagsaw I respect that you have an opinion, but you come across to me as angry with a clear political agenda, which just makes me not really trust your intentions for posting. Like it's one thing to go to church and another thing to try and turn it into your political platform.

However you're not the first person here that's said that so although it's a wee bit frustrating for me because I'm not in the least bit angry there's not really much I can do to change that perception because it would involve supressing my thought process and creative juices. I will say though, I'm not really in the business about changing perceptions of me......I'm in the business of changing perceptions about reality. So yes...I do have an agenda.

Doh. My bad. I said it too soon. (see above) But yes...I gave you a clue on page 3 of my Jagmeet thread when I said the following:

"I also particularly like those posters on this forum that deploy a Socratic approach to what they write, in that they pose hard-hitting questions and opinions with the objective of provoking the reader into some reflective analysis of the issues being discussed"

I deploy a socratic method to what I say and do because I want to get the reader into some deep reflective thinking.
