Say today we had Khalsa Raj and were being invaded by a foreign superpower, do you think Maharaj will expect his Fauj to wave edged weapons in response to Helicopter Gun Ships, Navy battle ships, laser guided hellfire missiles etc? They carried the latest weapons available to them at the time, as did the Singh's in the Anglo-Sikh Wars.
