VJKK VJKF it is too shameful and i know extacly how embrassing it is for it to be mentioned infront of anyone or even worse when on tv a lustful scene is on tv movie is so difficult to watch in the family with mother sister etc

Going back and reading previous posts on this thread is making me feel better. Is it just me, but I go on a guilt trip and that's when I start to get angry. You are much braver than me, you admitted your kaam way before me. I'm a scaredy-cat lol. I feel really guilty afterwards and then I feel as if I am never gonna get rid of it. I try so hard but its impossible. Do you feel guilty afterwards veerji? I'd like to know I'm not the only 1. I hate it when people bring it up and they talk about it. It makes me uncomfortable and it reminds me of how low I am. I have walked so far away from Guruji. I don't even know if He can ever forgive me. I am probably the worst of all.

Chor won't leave us until we take steps to leave them - even then they never disappear completely, they are also vital. Taking Amrit is the 1st step, can take many life forms to control urges. I'm not going to give too much advice as I'll be a hypocrite, however I have heard, changes in lifestyle, what we hear, see, speak require re-tuning away from the material world (ninda, watching stuff that pulls mind in gutter, talking nonsense), then focus mind solely on present and find the right sangat. All comes with Gurprasad.  Overthinking results in stress and tension we can do without.

Wjkk wjkf!

bro I’m also 26 and I’ve dealt with Kaam problems for a long time.

Took amrit when I was 18, and fell off the band wagon so much, watching bad stuff and indulging in kaam acts. It’s been a rough road.

The only thing that saved me was Sangat. I’ve been blessed that my Sangat is very very chardikala, in that they can tell when someone is burning in the 5 Chor. They kept me on the straight and narrow. They put up with me when others would have tossed me and my disgusting self out of the Sangat.

So the only advice we should follow is Guru sahibs. Everything else is manmat. Become pakha to the max in gurbani. Do Sangat.

I personally started doing sukhmani Sahib with some family members. And wish I had started earlier. It’s like an instruction manual for how to walk the path of sikhi and how to act and how not to act.

So do Sangat. Do paat. As much as possible. Stay away from tv and movies and music (easier said then done)

take amrit if your nitnem is paka.

Also I recently just got married. And to be honest me and my wife get along well so kaaam has been easier to control. BUT and this is a huge but, you will see the consequences of thinking with a kaam filled mind once you are married. If you’ve indulged in internet “resources” to fulfill kaam filled needs you might find your mind becomes unsatisfied with normal healthy marital relations.

Big warning to those that indulge before marriage. It leaves horrible scars on your psyche. Makes you feel like crap when you have a loving partner and your past kaam indulgence s come back to haunt you.

Guru maharaj please have kirpa On us all. Let us walk your path and protect us at all times!

I feel like kaam is a big problem. It's one of the hardest to stop. Also you can't even share it with anyone out of sheer embarrassment. It becomes an uncomfortable situation.
