Coconut oil and natural oils are good for your hair. I use argan oil because it makes your hair soft and it makes your hair longer. (It made my hair longer)

The kaam problem is solved if you follow Guru Nanak's lifestyle of grihast jeevan, the Gurus and puraatan Singhs and puraatan Singhs would have married as teenagers so the kaam problem was greatly reduced by grihast jeevan.

Some groups will only give naam and maybe even limited about of banis when giving amrit, but some groups that are part of the original Buddha Dal and Tarna Dal, ie Nihangs, will also teach you the practical lifestyle that is actually part of rehit and is actually also mandatory by Guru Gobind Singh such as practise of shastar, and can also teach you other things like horse-riding and hunting if you stay these groups for a while.

Some groups have decided to either ignore or not preserve these practical parts of Guru Gobind Singh's hukams, like shastar is just as important as nitnem paat for an amrit dhari sikh. And the more you follow Guru ji's rehit the more you will subdue your ego, otherwise if you take amrit from a group which only follows partial rehit without the mandatory practical rehit then you might get the ego of being amrit dhari without following rehit fully.

Your mind is a computer.  They had a term GIGO in the olden days meaning garbage in garbage out. What you watch, hear, read and see will feed your mind. What you think is what your body will do. If you decide enough is enough then you can stop. Bani is meant to tune the mind to the almighty.

If you manage to tune yourself enough, then you will want to use your hands just for seva. As Jesus said if your right hand makes you sin cut it off and throw it away.  However you can decide to talk to your hands and tell them to stop. Alternatively you could go and use your hands for seva at the gurdwara. Would you want to pollute your hands now?

Being idle is another thing which promotes bad habits. Have a healthy sport you can engage in. Focus your mind on other things and go for a walk instead of staying alone.

Access the deeper issues causing the problem.  Do not just read this and forget it the next moment.

Its much like one of the bhagat jis telling his tongue - this is a gurbani tukh - re jeeba karu sat khand jaam na uchras sri Gobind. He is telling his tongue that he is going to cut it into pieces if it does not say the word of God.

Good luck and do let us know what works so that others can benefit too.
