Chemistry Teacher for Immediate Start (45K)

Thai Sikh International School (accredited by the Council of International Schools) is seeking applications from QUALIFIED secondary Science teachers table to teach IGCSE and A Level Chemistry to students at our Middle and High School campus located near Bearing BTS station. The position is to start ASAP.

The school has been managed by International School Services (www.iss.edu), who are associated with over 300 schools worldwide, since August this year.

1) Teaching Position: Chemistry Teacher (IGCSE and A Level).

2) The initial contract will be until June 2018, with the option of renewal if both parties agree.

3) Applicants must be qualified with at least a Bachelor Degree major in Education OR a Bachelor Degree related to Chemistry and a post graduate teaching certificate (PGCE or Dip. Ed. equivalent). They must be certified to teach in their own country. Those with recent teaching experience in an international school environment are encouraged to apply.

4) An interest in teaching general science to students in lower secondary classes is highly desirable. 

5) In addition to their salary, other benefits include health insurance, approximately 12 weeks paid holiday (for full 12 month contracts) and quality professional development through the ISS network. There is an option of on-campus, furnished accommodation for teachers.

6) All teachers teach for approximately 28 periods/week (each period is 35 minutes). Class sizes are a maximum of 25 students, however they are often smaller.
