on the back of the Guiness book of world records announcing the Golden temple  as the most visited place in the world ...I sniff BS from Air India it was a cynical move to generate more airport taxes from Punjabis and backpackers , of course the national airline will restrict other companies ....just watch

It's a catch 22 situation. Travel direct to Amritsar and show that there is demand for the direct flight but then at the same time put your hard earned money into the genocidal Indian government which has murdered tens of thousands of our fellow Sikhs. Given the choice I would  go via Turkmenistan airlines and at least keep some of my hard earned money from the zalim sarkar.

Don’t blame them. Its a shame it’s not another airline. I didn’t have a good experience with them either. They don’t seem to be updated about passengers with health conditions or allergies.

Further good news. British airways, Air Canada and virgin Atlantic might start flights to Amritsar due to huge demand by Punjabis.

Did the government controlled airport authority now charging less for landing fees in Amritsar ? Last time I heard two reasons why airlines stopped landing in Amritsar is because : 1. No business class booking. 2. Indian airport authority were charging more than double fees as compared with Delhi airport.
