Greetings on Bandi Chhor Divas & Diwali

I'm confused. Should i call it diwali or Bandi Chor Divas???

If i say Diwali, people might think of the hindu version. At school they only tell everyone about the hindu diwali stuff. So when they find out that sikhs also celebrate diwali, they automatically assume that we do it for the same reason as hindus.

you can say Diwali or Bandhi Chod Divas. Both are acceptable
