Intoxicating pesh???

Gurfateh ji, 

yesterday I was making my own type of tea from scratch. I drank it and it tasted good. But today I read that we are not supposed to take intoxicants. Do I need to go pesh??

plus the nihung singhs also make shaheedi degh with sukha so I don't know what I should do.
