It is a humble request to all Sikh Sangat throughout North America to attend the Agan Bhet Sewa {Sacred Cremation Services} of PAAVAN {Sacred} BIRADH SAROOPS {Old unreadable Scriptures} of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Guttka Sahib and Pothi Sahib. This sacred service will be taking place on Aug. 6, 2017 from 10am to 1pm.

We request all Sangat to take part in this Sewa and receive Guru Sahib Ji’s blessings.

What's an unreadable scripture? Does the ink wear off?

Or are the pages just a bit worn on the edges, and Sikhs want to trade in "their" copies of Guru Granth Sahib for a 2017 model?
