Hi paji, have you been tested for any health condition?

I saw professionals and got advice from many people, but nothing helped. So i started doing mool mantar every time I had a panic attack and I started to feel better.

What methods did they give you help? Have you had CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy).  If not, ask for it. Mool mantar is good, it's helped me too with it.

Do you do any relaxation exercises? Have you tried the Jacobson's Muscle relaxation? I'll put a link on for you.

The voices and noises you hear, I'm sorry I'm not qualified to advise on that. When are you hearing these noises? But you need to go back to your doctor.

Are you in any stressful situation? The doctors should have asked you all this.

Also, when i stare at something for a long time, the object appears to be getting smaller and I get scared cuz my surroundings become out of ballance and i feel like im falling....what the hell?!!!??

You need to see a specialist and that's through your doctor. The thing is we can't diagnose what the cause is, only the professionals can. But you've mentioned you stay inside all day. That's not healthy for you, you need fresh air, oxygen. Do you study? What do you do all day?

Are you eating properly? Have you had your blood tests done? Is anything deficient?

Also, something that may help you with the anxiety side is Sarab Rog Ka Aukhad Naam. It helped me, try the shabads and do your Ardas to Waheguru to help you. If you can attend a camp. I'm putting on their website too, so you can see their updates or if there's any camps near you.

Ive had anxiety since i was a child and have had full blown panic attacks ever since i was 14. It's incredibly scary and unsettling. My whole body goes numb, disturbing and traumatizing thoughts come in my head at fast speeds and I have so much difficulty breathing which leads to hyperventilation.

I'm 17 now and can control them better than before, but they still come out of no where at random times. I saw professionals and got advice from many people, but nothing helped. So i started doing mool mantar every time I had a panic attack and I started to feel better.

I dont know what to do!!!! Please some one help.

In addition to this, sometimes I hear extremely loud noises in my head, almost deafening sounds out of no where when everything around me is quite. It is SOO DISTURBING!!! OMG!! I hear voices, music and other things....its madness, i go crazy. What the hell is happening???

Also, when i stare at something for a long time, the object appears to be getting smaller and I get scared cuz my surroundings become out of ballance and i feel like im falling....what the hell?!!!??

Sometimes I feel dead and as if i am empty. Completely empty. With no thoughts. NOTHING. OMG what the heck!! Then i feel as if im huge!! Literally!! I look at my hand and it feels EXTREMELY Huge and my head feel like its smaller than a marble....what the heck, i go mental!!!!

I am socially awkward and have problems talking with people because of these things. I traumatise myself ???

Also, at times I feel depersonalisation. That is the feeling of everything seeming fake and like a dream. I feel like im.always in a dream and nothing is real. It feels like im watching a film play out and i am not in control of anything, just someone trapped in a vessel. ????

Doctors do not understand and everyone i say this too thinks im crazy and just blame it on me staying inside all day, stuck on my phone and being shy... What the hell?!?!?!

Anxiety is a unique condition, there are things that may help you, there are many herbal remedies which can reduce anxiety, (not fully cure), as well as providing help for other health related problems that may cause anxiety, if that's not a choice, exercise is a solution, I know you mention it hasn't helped, but you could give it some time.

I've had anxiety for 8 years and OCD for about 4 years. I've experienced some of the things that you have, for example, the feeling that life is just a dream and everything seems fake. That feeling would make uncomfortable and increase anxiety, but then I started Mool Mantar and things slowly started to get better, it took its time but trust me things will get better. I remember the first time I read the translation of Chaupai Sahib and made me feel so much better.

Watch some videos on things like OCD with intrusive thoughts and you will realise your not the only one with these problems. Also make sure you see a Doctor, the quicker you do the quicker your problems will go away.

When you start feeling anxious or worried put some headphones in and listen to simran/kirtan, try these

If you need anyone to talk to feel free to message me, talk to the sangat on here or https://www.reddit.com/r/Sikh/. Or talk to people with similar problems https://www.reddit.com/r/Anxiety/ or https://www.reddit.com/r/OCD/

They just told me to do breathing exercises, but they dont work.

You need help with the panic attacks and anxiety. Go back to your doctor and ask for more help.  Don't be afraid okji, they're there to help. Tell them about you're OCD too.

Also, the noises i hear mostly happen at night when its realy quite.

Do Kirtan Sohila before you sleep and don't go back on your phone, that will mess up your sleep routine. I'll post the sleep help tips later.

In the meantime, try Jacobson Progressive Muscle Relaxation:

Don't worry little one, things will get better. Trust Waheguru, and don't worry.

Did they go through the breathing exercises with you? Did you do them in front of them? If you're not doing them properly, then they won't have much effect.

How to improve your sleep routine:

Brother OneBeing,

I do not think you have any mental problems, it is only I feel that you have a lot of blessings from Wahiguru Akal Purukh, and you have to channelize your energies.

Have you tried doing the jaap / simran of Wahiguru?

Do it, as the Bani says: Sarab rog ka aukhad Naam.

So if Naam is the solution of all maladies, naturally it is also an aid in blessings.  You need company of higher gursikhs who can clear your doubts and assure you, that definetely, most of us ordinary people are insane, not you.

You have natural affinity to spirituality and its vibrations, the thing is, you need confirmation by the purer jeevas, that you are more than normal.

You are blessed that you can see or perceive that all this creation is nothing but a huge play, and you are a mere spectator in His play.... most of your such complaints, are assertions of you being spiritually awakened, and as said, you just need a confirmation from some purer sikhs, that you are at the start point of your journey back to Him, so hold on tightly to his Lotus Feet to soar higher and higher, there is much much more to come, just ask Him to bless you with strength to digest anything which may come to you by His very Hukum.

Cool down, there is nothing to be afraid about, and stay blessed .

Sat Sree Akal.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
