Let me clarify that I have nothing against Christians in the West. They are mostly quite mellow, and we are living peaceably in such countries, and they're not bothering us, nor we them.

I do strongly oppose aggressive proselytization tactics. If the Christians want to make a deal at the Akal Takhat not to try to poach Sikhs, then we can agree not to poach Christians. Otherwise, game on.

It seems that the Christian bishops of Punjab have sued for peace and went to the Akal Takhat.

"He [the Bishop] said efforts were being made to make the Christian woman tender an apology for her objectionable remarks against Sikhism." As such, I think we should show a magnanimous approach.

Note: I hope this thread is not sidetracked by an extensive discussion about the incumbent Jathedar. I will say that issues related to the abortive forgiveness to the Sirsa saadh has weakened the Akal Takhat. Also, situations like this are exactly why we need an Akal Takhat, and a Jathedar. It's not enough, like some "missionaries" like to say, that Guru Granth Sahib is the only Jathedar we need.

Anyone willing to help expose the filth in bible teachings and in Christianity overall? It's time we give punjabi Christians scumbags a little pay back for all their sly conversions and digs they have been doing to Sikhi over their years without any reaction from Sikhs.

Its time the Sikhs on mass expose Christianity.

e.g

The following passage describes the sickening practice of sex slavery.  How can anyone think it is moral to sell your own daughter as a sex slave?

When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are.  If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again.  But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her.  And if the slave girl’s owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter.  If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife.  If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment. (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)

it's simple land/power/money grabbing , most Indian christians at moment are poor, landless dalits , whereas Punjabis have land and money plus sikh conditioning to  donate daswand  without complaint. Since Badal stole money from golak to build churches and hindu temples , the other faiths think why not cut out the middle man

One of the questions I have is in the West where we have accumulated wealth and prospered there is a need to give back in one way or another and people give back generously.  In some ways donated dasvandh is a manifestation of that. Do land owning and moneyed Sikhs in Punjab have the same need to give back like Western Sikhs or are they more apathetic?

dasvand is given of all received blessings time, money, food and drink this is a sign of gratitude it also keeps a person thinking of others everyday not just on certain days or months only like other faiths

Dasvand in the past was set up as a sort of charitable tax that Sikhs had to give to keep the kaum going.

Nowdays Sikhs are paying so much tax in many services and to govt that dasvand does not work for most Sikh families so they dont give any charity for fellow needy Sikhs. And even if they do give charity its to some non-sikh cause. And this has a huge demoralisation affect on poor and needy Sikhs left to fend for themselves making easy pickings for rich islamic and christian charities eager to increase their numbers and take over regions for political reasons.

Dasvand needs to be in line with the tax people pay in everyday life and from that they can calculate how much they need to give to fellow Sikhs.

The islamics are 1.3 billion strong and give to charity actively but only give to muslim charities who only cater for muslims in 50+ muslim countries. This is what purtatan Sikhs of the past used to be only helping and giving charity to fellow Sikhs and thus people would convert to Sikhi even just to get aid but after they got aid they became loyal followers of Sikh teachings.

We need to go back to basics...

Seems like while our kaum's eyes were on dawahist islamic etxremists we had some sly black christian extremist groups who have been grooming british punjabi girls of Sikh families for relationships and eventual conversion to Christianity and here this one girl called raj jerett who probably ran off with her black christian boyfriend is on stage abusing Sikhi and Guru Ji's, while Christians in the clip clap and cheer her on. It reminds me of when hizb ut tahir and al mahajroun the 2 islamic extremists groups in 1995 who had allegedly converted 2 sikh girls on stage in london who went on to abuse sikhism and guru's seems like these evil abrahmic cults have the same tactics and agenda.

This video seems like was uploaded by a chrisitan org originally 7years ago long before the current controversial viral videos between sikhs and Christians in punjab.

This girl says she was sexually abused from a young age, until she left home. If that is true, I'm not surprised she has rejected her roots.

Good on her. As a Sikhs we respect all religions. If she chose Christianity or even another religion as her path then good on her and I wish her all the best.

We should not stoop to her level though of disrespecting other faiths like she has done.

Most blacks are incredibly gullible when it comes to being corralled in issues of religion or even social causes that are ironically to their detriment. They are followers in nature, even when they assume they're leading. A tiny minority of blacks who are capable of seeing the truth are hated and verbally abused into silence so that the majority can continue to play the blame game.

A few of the notable figureheads of the various jathe and parchaar groups who reside in Punjab are currently touring North America on lucrative kirtan tours designed to rake in the dollars. Perhaps they should refocus their collective efforts on the Punjabi population back home, in order to prevent vulnerable people being drawn into the arms of these Christian missionaries. Sikhs converting to Christianity in India can be traced to government policies that put the squeeze on some of the vulnerable and desperate members of that society.

Sikhs converting to christianity in india  is not because of govt policies but because the 25 million sikhs don't give a craap about economically and socially backward sikhs like the ravidasias and mazhabi and sikligar, to name a few. Thats why ravidasias split away from panth , while mazhabi and sikligars are still die hardy. The other so called "lower castes" in the "casteless" sikh  religion are likely to be vacuumed in christianity .

Hindus are very well aware of the dangers of both of these middle eastern abrahamic cults .

Sikhs have still dug their heads in deep sand like ostrich pretending the problem doesn't exist.

As the first world country's reject religion , esp christianity and infact ridicule it , these evangelists have to move their bases to third world countries as education is less and poverty more in these third world countries. So people are gullible and prone to bribery . Thats why recent influx of christian missionaries in africa and asia .

If we don't stop them now , we will truly become a laughing stock for rest of india as punjab would be identified as a christian land rather than a sikh one . Apart from commenting on this forum , what can we do ? :/

Nopes, the land-owning and moneyed sikhs or Jatts as you would call them are too busy in their jatt-pride and wondering where they fit in between sikh pride and punjabi pride or rather jatt-pride .

They would rather spend those money in launching themselves as a singer or waste it on drugs or try moving to kanneda or amreeka or ashtrelia . Also most of these guys are monneh, so they couldn't give a rat a** about sikhi, except selectively boasting about sikh soorme with whom they bear no semblance either in appearance or lifestyle or discipline !

The other punjab lives in dire poverty , is affected by uranium-infected waters which is giving them cancer like never seen before , the drug-addicts and god knows what not .

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
