Is makeup allowed in Sikhi?

Today we are releasing a very relevant video that explains why makeup, body enhancements and other artificial and worldly ways to decorate one’s body are not in accordance with Gurmat.  This video by Bibi Sanmukh Kaur, a young Canadian born Gursikh bibi, is geared towards Amritdhari bibian who are not fully convinced why they should not use modern techniques to do makeup, wear ornaments and do other body decorations.  We give our perspective on why doing makeup is not in accordance to Gurmat and we hope that it will be received by viewers in a positive sense because our aim is not to belittle anyone but we are doing these videos solely with the purpose of educating Sikhs about Gurmat code of conduct and important Gurmat principles.
