Yes, as a Singh if you feel theme park rides are your thing, get creative. Gravity is not your friend in those situations. Take precautions. Don't embarrass yourself and the faith.

I have to give credit and respect to the staff there as they stopped the ride and one of the senior staff offered to go and see if they could find it, although he was not hopeful he would find it or it would be in a wearable state as he said there was water underneath that portion of the ride . I was so relieved that he managed to find it and returned to me. Afterwards he told me that I'm not the first one who has lost their turban on this ride especially after the first loop.

Be warned and take precaution if your going to ride this one. I would be interested to know if any others have had a similar issue on this ride.

 

I'm probably going to give a rare answer, (which for anyone knows is not something I want to say), but I'd side with the Non-Sikhs on this one. It's better to wear a patka, in fact you should not wear any loose clothing religious or not, (just so your wondering, I'm Amritdhari). If your Kirpan isn't tightly, (and I mean tightly), secured, you shouldn't be riding the ride either.

Sometimes, I feel like these Non-Sikhs being accommodating is a very nice trait out of them, but in all seriousness, you should've been kicked out.

I know Hijabs aren't Sikh, but a roller coaster shouldn't allow that at all, instead SJWs just revolted like crazy.

FYI

I think Amritdhari's carrying kirpans are not allowed into Drayton Manor. They are offered a substitute necklace with mini kakars.

I was asked by security if I was carrying a dagger before security screening.
