You see swimmers all shave, and don't see hair on their body. I know as a  sikh its all wrong, but I don't know if I should start to swim again . You dont see swimmers with hair and beard. I know a singh who goes to the local pool with his whole family to swim. He wears one of those old school bathing suits that cover up most of the body nicely and puts a stainless steel kirpan under his dastaar. And yes, he swims with dastar on. There really are not that many restrictions on Amritdharies, mostly just a few rules and some principles to follow. We can really live a very modern, varied, and full life as long as we don't let our limited mindsets and assumptions block us. good luck.
