I hate terrorism we all do but why a kids concert?! And it's even worse that it's virtually impossible to stop this as a civilian without breaking the law, Isis bombs sikh weddings as well I hope there can be a time where we can all live in peace but that won't happen in a long time

The father's wife is a nuclear scientist? My god. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's quite a niche line of work. Nuclear scientists aren't bountiful in supply. Why would a proven jihadist decide to make a home with someone like that?

So the guy can travel to whatever war-torn Islamist-controlled territory for training, and upon return to Britain, instead of being arrested, or even questioned, the customs/borders official (standing in place of the Government), says "Welcome Home!" 

If someone were to write this up as a screenplay, it would be rejected for being wildly impossible for a government to be so incompetent.

This is why the UK Home Secretary and intelligence services are indignant at the leaks that originated from the U.S. yesterday. It shows their utter incompetence. They wanted to keep their mistakes hidden from the public under the guise of operational procedure, but in reality they know they'd messed up.

It wasn't a kids concert per se, but rather that Ariana Grande, the singer, is a young woman whose fan base is disproportionately teenage girls.

It is being speculated that the reason for the attack is the Muslims dislike music. Keep in mind that when Guru Nanak Dev ji started singing outside of Baghdad, the locals gathered to kill Guru ji for singing.

Yes, the extreme Wahabbi and Salafi strands of Islam consider music, dancing, etc., to be haram. But I personally think the venue chosen for the attack was less to do with any objections to music - even if that's the reason being given - but for more practical reasons, i.e. the young white girls were considered to be easy pickings, plus the subsequent outrage at choosing such "soft" targets, etc., would upset the public, and heighten the fears of the population. Ultimately it's just depraved blood lust on the part of the terrorists; the glee at causing the deaths of people is all the reason they need to do what they do.

The main point is that Britain imported an Islamist extremist and  al Qaeda sympathizer (the perp's father).

The west military intervened in iraq, libya, syria, afghanistan, etc,etc and stole their wealth, their oil, their gold, their resources. They caused death and destruction of military weak and vile but stable secular arab regimes (saddams iraq, gadaffis libya, asads syria) and vital infrastructure and killed millions of innocent civilians during their bombing campaigns and they expect blow-backs back home but think the risk is worth while for long term financial gains. The white western politicians and their paymasters upper class elites are safe protected in their ivory towers and 24/7 clock armed police security. The ones that suffer the repercussions for western illegal intervention and theft in foreign countries is the working working and middle classes.

The politicians of mostly conservative governments cut resources and vital funding for police and state services and in the mean while since 1980s under conservative tories watch allowed violent immigrants, muslim refugee's and Islamic extremists to come in the west settle in working class communities and expect these people with strong backward abrahamic ideological upbringings or beliefs not to get dis-illusioned with a mundane life that's going no where fast and not to indulge in knife/gun crime and eventually not to turn to what Islam has to offer which in turn radicalises whole populations to their way of life, community and society into a violent and fear driven one.

Labour government is equally responsible allowing more muslim immigrants in and by creating new laws that further criminalised people, such as the absurd hate crime bill in 2007 that made people criminals for preaching against islam in public. Which lead to wasting police resources doing desk work when they should be out in the community in a visible presence policing the streets.

The meddling ill advised politicians create the breeding ground for society's own downfall and destruction. They think short term social goals and do not think long term wider impacts for society and that's the key problem with current model of democracies that they have short 4year periods of power.

I've been following in recent months various legal cases in the UK, and something that's piqued my attention is how many figures in the legislative and judiciary bodies are individuals with Islamic names. Most of them are prosecutors working on behalf of the state, therefore dependent on career choices, could conceivably have the power in the future to shape UK laws and practices. That's something that should send alarm bells ringing. If we ever arrive at a situation where the Muslim population hits 30 or 40% you can bet your bottom dollar they'll be in a perfect position to push for legislation that benefits Muslims at the expense of other groups. They'll have been deeply embedded in the system for decades by then, so they'll know their way around the place. Many will say it's misplaced paranoia, but those same people exist to silence such concerns by singing songs, reciting poems, and holding placards in response to a threat about which they are in complete denial. Something to think about.

And the item, which was written before the weekend's One Love Manchester concert, in which performers from around the world showed their defiance to terrorists, claimed the 'enemies of Islam' had failed.

It said: 'In the wake of the bombing, the panic-ridden friends and relatives took to social media to enlist the help of strangers in the search for their loved ones, local pubs began offering free booze to emergency personnel in need of clearing their minds of the traumatic scenes they had witnessed, British 'Muslims' came out and offered their token denunciations out of fear of retaliation, massive numbers of police and military personnel were deployed on the streets, the UK threat level was raised to 'Critical,' politicians brought their campaigning for the upcoming general elections to a halt, the distraught and 'broken' American singer placed her European tour on hold and went home, and the Chelsea FC football team cancelled their victory parade in London.  

'The enemies of Islam did their best to put on a brave and defiant face, but their efforts were a complete failure. They were clearly suffering.'
