WJKK WJKF

When there was a peaceful protest against the nirankaris, I heard AKJ were also involved. Are there any notable people of AKJ who became shaheed in the protest?

There was Bhai Fauja Singh who was very much AKJ who got Shaheed; however, as a whole it was even among Taksal and AKJ in the Amritsar Vaisakhi protests, (in the other 1978 Nirankari protests the majority were not members of any Jatha, and not every Shaheed outside of that one was Taksal or AKJ).

Why did clash between nirankaris nd sikhs happen. Did we incite nirankaris in anyway

The history starts from the formation of the Nirankari and then Sant Nirankari division, the division between these 2 groups caused one to hate Sikhi; and the other which has merged with Sikhs. But the 1978 incident happened when someone named Gurbachana, (3rd head of the Sant Nirankari Mission), decided that he would have a parade in Amritsar on Vaisakhi and would attempt to step on Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This made the true Sikhs frustrated on hearing that this guy would dare to such a thing. So once the news arrived that Gurbachana would attempt to do such a thing, the Sikhs decided to stand-up and they were lead by Bhai Fauja Singh, (many Sikhs during this time also were starting to realize what was going to happen and totally new prachar would be done afterward), this lead to Bhai Fauja Singh and 12 other Sikhs Shaheedi with 200-300 jailed. After this event Nirankaris had many more events and Gurbachana was still testing the Sikhs, so also in 1978 a massacare in Kanpur also killed 13 people, and there were small massacares of Sikhs in Delhi and other heavy Nirankari areas. That all and Indra Gandhi had backed-up Gurbachana because Sikhs stood-up to her in The Emergency.

And on their official site, they claim their father gurbachana was a target of communal hatred lol.

Anyways, now the last man has died I guess and now salvinder "kaur" (lol they still feel like using that suffix to their name) is running the nirankari mission.

I must say it has considerable hindu following here . On back of taxis and rickshaws, its not uncommon to see "Dhan nirankar ji"

Vaheguru ji Ka Khalsa
Vaheguru ji Ki Fateh, ji

I don't support those negative nirankari actions, but doesn't "Dhan Nirankar ji" mean the same thing as calling Sri Vaheguru ji blessed (because they are nirankar??)? Vaheguru ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru ji Ki Fateh

I agree with you, but here we are speaking in a context. Kindly request you do the same.

Also hindus also say "Ram Ram" , and it appears in SGGS also, but hindus never talk about parbrahm IMHO . Hindus of today are allergic to concept of abstract parbrahm. They can't see beyond idols and demi gods. So , even if in gurbani, a hindu interprets Raam as Sri Ramchandr of Ramayan .

I won't be surprised if Nirankaris also thought of nirankaar as gurbachana baba lol

You should not generalize a billion people's thoughts.. But I see what you are saying. Vaheguru ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru ji Ki Fateh

I won't generalize and I don't like to generalize , but with most hindu brothers, if you speak about Parbrahm, then seem to be suddenly disinterested. They are used to worshipping Parbrahm in his manifested aspects - Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, Shiv, Shakti, etc .

Anyways, we're diverting from topic of thread lol

Most of them don't even know why the originally left the Sikh faith.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
