I really want to wish that this would've been inspiring, but people will still continue with the concept of the: "Grand Indian Wedding", (or Punjabi/Subcontinental, same concept). I think it has something to do with reputation with your groups. If you are Jatt or Khatri, (the 2 groups with the most power), or any other main caste that has caste-affiliation over Sikh affiliation you need to show-off for caste pride over simplicity. Our Ankhar is really obvious when it comes to these celebrations.

I know he has valid points, but honestly how many of our apne are willing to listen to him. Brushing him off is easier for most of us

The only way that's being done is Dhadrianwale leads by example for NKJ. (NKJ follows Dhadrianwale more than any member of any other Jatha fanboys, before Dhadrianwale was a supporter of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji now he doesn't, and NKJ is going that way). You can always see "We Support Dhadrianwale", on his videos.
