Fremont Sikh wedding brawl

Waheguru ji ka khalsa, Waheguru ji ki fateh

Just came across this story and it made me sick to my stomach. I don't even know what to say, this is what alcohol does to people. Instead of finding Waheguru they find alcohol and "punjabi-ism". They were beating people laying on the ground defenceless because they were drunk and angry. Those that are getting arrested have Singh in their name, bringing bad perceptions onto our community. Something really needs to be done.

See this article and then theres a link in there to more information where it says updates

Why would they have a party until after 12am. Should have ended it earlier and not invited so many people, because the drink took over them. They should of been banned from the wedding day too, and ban drink, that's if it was a pre-wedding party. Patiala peg de lagde.

Vaheguru ji Ka Khalsa
Vaheguru ji Ki Fateh, ji

How is that a 'Sikh' wedding party? Didn't Sri Guru Sahib ji stop a singh from going to a mujra-like place? & these people are celebrating an Anand Karaj by drinking alcohol :waheguru:. Don't brand those people as 'Sikh's if they do bujjar kurehits. Vaheguru ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru ji Ki Fateh

The moni's are at it again.  The moni's will justify this behaviour by making up false history to drag Sikhs in the mud.

There were Singh's involved too. In fact I believe one is even charged with very serious offences.

Look at the monis swearing and having no regard for women.  This has been their culture since birth.

As opposed to 'amritdharis' who fight & swear in Gurdwaras. Attacking eachother with their blunt useless kirpans whilst using the most dispicable language imaginable & removing each others dastars..... whilst in the presence of Guru Granth Sahib!

Masands were burnt in the Guru's presence.  Moni's fighting on alcohol is not in comparison to amritdharis standing up for Gurmat.

It's not always just masands/committee... been cases where the fighting started over disagreements on maryada, Saints etc. Been quite a lot of cases where Granthis have been caught consuming alcohol in their rooms at the gurdwara.

Oh really? You're saying most fights in Gurdwaray are  to prevent beadbi etc? Quit the act, you must really think we're a stupid bunch to believe that. Its almost two sides of middle aged men, many if whom are sardar/amritdhari, fighting over control, so they can line their pockets. Now a days neither monay or sardars are better than the others.

Assuming you're a nihang, your faction of Sikhs are some of the worst lol

Maskeen ji wrote about horrible guru dwara prabandh in gurudwaras of west in his book. You guys should read it.

I feel for you sikhs in west. We don't have it like these here in india. Even the moneh here fear nd respect sggs.

Also a few gurudwaras will outright refuse to marry a monah guy or even one who cut his beard (sinners like me) although most would do it for the MONEY.

More moni alcoholic fueled thinking.  Moni keep hiding in a crowd of sheep's.  Nothing but anger and rage in these brainless people.  Look at the video, they even fight like sheep.

And what fuels the thinking of amritdharis who fight inside gurdwaras?.... thieving from Gurus golak?..... or is it the false sense of superiority most get just because they have 'taken amrit'. The truth is most amritdharis these days are nothing more then the external form.... spiritually they are completely bankrupt & void of any genuine avastha. They look down on others, do more nindiya then most & use their image to hide all their own shortfalls whilst acting holier then thou. Most are cowards but think they are soorme because they wear blunt curved useless kirpans that can't even cut a banana.

See how generalisations can work both ways? I'm sure most moneh are not how you generalised & not all amritdharis are as I described above..... but the illness of false sense of superiority is ripe... explains a lot

bro just because someone has amrit and wears a gatra-kirpan doesn't make him an amritdhari only rehit does that and thieves, thugs and bullies  are not rehitvaan in any shape . ALso the monay veer who thinks so highly of themselves because of this should realise that they are not gaining anything by their own conduct , if you love the Guru you should show it in full .

frankly all involved need a tight slap from Guru ji ...aint nobody got time for that gandh

Why do people even fight in the temple, don't they know it is the gods house they're in?

A Argument in the langar hall happened in Canada, Yelling and swearing with threats afront of little kids, it was horrible, it was between someone cleaning dishes with cut hair and a old man with a turban, not sure what it was about, but it was horrible indeed.

People are taking these as a joke, a meme has been made about the dispute in the golden temple with sword clashes.

    • Vaheguru ji Ka Khalsa
Vaheguru ji Ki Fateh, ji But with Sri Ardas Sahib ji we are guided to do what is best. Without that paath, an average person can carry on doing wrong without guidance. Vaheguru ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru ji Ki Fateh
    • Vaheguru ji Ka Khalsa
Vaheguru ji Ki Fateh, ji From my memory of reading Sri Chaubis Avtaar, Buddha ji was an avatar of him that was here to make people go offtrack because royal people were abusing riddhi siddhis through hinduism. Or of course, if you'd like to know more about it you can read it yourself without assuming things, Singh ji. Go to  buddhist mandirs, they have images of devtas everywhere. Sri Indra, Sri Brahma, Sri Ganesh, Sri Mahadev, Sri Saraswati, Sri Uma Devi, Sri Devi are all known to them. Just look at this video of a jagrata they have in their own culture: Those countries do believe in hinduism, they are actually believing in hindu traditions while being buddhist such as MURTI POOJA which is an hindu custom. They have jattheras for their ANCESTORS just as hindus do. They have versions of ramayan in their languages that they used to read. bhul chuk maaf kijye Vaheguru ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru ji Ki Fateh
    • Vaheguru ji Ka Khalsa
Vaheguru ji Ki Fateh, ji Veer ji, these stories were told orally to me. If someone lives off of donations of sangat, then whatever pains the sangat has is transferred to the person who live's off their work. Even in my Sri Gurdwara Sahib ji, they tell everyone who is rich or poor that 'lohr matavic langar shako' (aka do not always live off of donations). Parchar is something that needs to be done for free, rather than for money. Look at all these people who use sikhi as a way to make money, buying 1st class plane tickets to travel etc. It would save us from people who do Parchar and literally say anything just because they will receive $$$ afterwards. Now people are having paathi sahib jis doing paath at their house for money as well, if the reciter's motive is to achieve money and not actually do paath for free then what energy are they really spreading while doing paath? Energy matters, even when making sri karah prasad we are told to try to keep the most positive energy while preparing it. These are just my views, all are free to believe in what they want, but as per that saakhi I would rather live a simple life and earn little money, rather than making money off of sri guru sahib ji's sikhya which is free for all. Free for all.. Sri Gurbani Sahib ji is not invented by us, why should we sell it in the name of dharma. I think people who do stuff as hobbies have true prem, because they are doing it for the love of it, rather than the ones who have $$$ on their mind. bhull chuk maaf kijye Vaheguru ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru ji Ki Fateh
    • Even Sant Jarnail Singh Bhinderwale said the same thing, the word Hindu does not appear in any Hindu texts, and when they refered to this religion they would call themselves Sidhu, (which means of the Sidhs/Bhagti or Magic, I don't know what Sidh by itself means unless used with another word). As you know Islam invaded India very early on, so those first Muslims called these Sidhus, as Hindus. Why Arabs gave-up this word in their dictionary, I don't know. Arabs are mostly Muslim-In-Name-Only, the groups that are usually more devout are the Non-Middle-Eastern Muslims, (with the exception of Iran, which became religious due to the some false agitations on the last Shah and secular groups).
