What's your opinion of sikhs on dating sites?

I know genuine marriages which have taken place and lasted due to the internet. However you first have to be that genuine person.  To get to a genuine person you need to go through a lot of trash first.  Therefore if you intend to hit the Internet it is good to be aware of all potential lurking dangers.  Talk and find out as much as possible about your potential spouse and avoid meeting alone. It is not a bad idea to get parents involved when meeting.  Use the Internet as you would approach a rishta in real life. .... not for secret dating.

Dating is supposedly a taboo for Sikhs but as money takes priority over moral values n parents no longer bothered who can say it's wrong.

 

I wonder why there's no mention of minimum & maximum age for marriage in Rehat Maryada ?

 

None of the religious leaders were genuine & bold enough to add this much needed diktat "marrying age" in Sikh Code of Conduct.

Tony isnt saying anything wrong it seems people like you want to justify anti-sikh antics. Your probably one of those unsuitable sikh girls that no sikh guy wants long term and is left in trash dung heap for just casual daters to use and abuse.

Of course, a Sikh female putting down another Sikh female. How attractive you are inside - out.

1. Sikhi is meant to build your character. To the point where you are able to make moral decisions aligned with Sikhi . Just because you aren't strong enough doesn't mean others are. Probably a misgiving in your upbringing.  Are your parents educated?

2. On the lines of trash-use-abuse: I find it amusing since you do sound bitter. Experience speaks? Probably so in your case

3. I know Gursikhs who have found suitable partners on matrimonial sites. Lucky for them they weren't taking advice from someone with a low IQ like yourself.

Have a good day and stop abusing other females. No one needs to see such crass behaviour.
