I think the short term future is to vacate these far out places, like Buner and Swat, where the govt power is extremely limited. Taliban movement is very strong in these places. At the moment places like Peshawar and Attock are a lot better. Long term plan, if things settle down, (which is highly unlikely) is for Sikhs to start shifting assets and families to Lahore or other places os safety.

Even writing that makes me think, what places in Pakistan are actually safe.

What a mess these people have made of their country.

It's probably more a case of: "These people (Sikhs) used to lord it over us, look at what we are doing to them now."

And you're probably right. No place is safe for nonMuslim minorities over there.

Sadly thats not possible and I would hate for them all to leave or religiously cleansed from their own homeland.

It just makes the case stronger for why Khalistan was vital for our survival in 1940s and is even more vital for our survival in the future. Those Sikhs who say we don't need Khalistan because India treats Sikh well now and gives them their full democratic and human rights are living in cloud coo coo land. Even if Sikhs were given refugee or asylum status in different countries....home will always be home. Afghan born Sikhs who live aboard long to return to their homeland but only once its peaceful and secure same with pakistani Sikhs who reside in india now and same with Indian born Sikhs who now reside in europe living and working like slaves.

We just need to look at the example of Israel how they pursue their enemies through military and economic might when zionist jews and israeli interests are harmed. If Khalistan was established there would be military and diplomatic cloat to sort these kinda problems out our people face in hostile muslim inhabited nations.

Grooming, kidnapping non-muslim girls to convert and impregnate is a military tactic to undermine the non-muslims and their population basically its genocide by the backdoor its warfare in any other words. Something we should recognise.

Thanks for highlighting this. Such a tragedy. This poor Sikh sister must be dying inside, being forced to praise the Arabian prophet every day of the rest of her life and restricted from praising the True Guru. I wonder, is there anything in these people's religion that allows or encourages them to do this sort of thing?

They would have done it anyway, these Muslims go around being barbaric to their own people, what do you expect for them to do those who aren't Muslim.

Don't be some SJW Muslim "human-rights" believer. (I know you hopefully aren't, but we got some of those in our diaspora like crazy, even hardcore liberal Sikhs in India wouldn't be SJW Muslim defenders like some of those in the diaspora).

Even the light of God, (Guru Sahib), said not to trust the oaths a Muslim makes from the Qur'an/Koran. If even someone like him says stuff like that, what hope is there for us not fully enlightened?

The reality for these NWFP and Afghan Sikhs is that they need to get the heck out of there.

It will never be peaceful.

The pragmatic solution is to leave. If there are no Sikhs then there are no Sikh women for them to take.

nothing says she has to , if an outside group sponsors her and removes her for the situation after securing her divorce/anullment  surely that is not down to the sikhs there and so extricates her whilst removing blame from families .
