Not so much, but noticed this time of year too much dust accumulates even after cleaning. Just cleaned the window sills and was looking for dust removal techniques. Need to get some microfibre cloths again as tried with a wet paper towel and it wouldn't pick up.

if it coming in from the road open windows which open swinging out with  a closed top  else small opening with net curtain in front to slow particle entrance wipe window sills every morning where most of this stuff will settle . No shoe policy helps a lot in our house  along with outside rubber mats and inside door mats which are washable at all outside entry points. Those wonder mats are great. . Regularly hoovering the porch/hallway also stops grit and dust travelling in.

I try to open the windows a bit everyday if it's not too cold.

We don't take shoes in other parts of the house, but take them off at the door. And slippers if needed in house. Yep mats in place. I'll take a look at the wonder mats, never heard of them, thanks. Porch/hallway always cleaned. I think it's the carpet that may create the dust mostly.
