That was not an apology.  An apology is where a person recognizes they did a wrong thing and apologize for it (calling someone an insult as in this case) and it has no baring on the person who the insult was direct toward. Clearly you are the person with gandh on your mind and want to project it on others.

look I don't agree with her doing that and posting it , I don't think it is right for anyone to 'act out' if it brings disrespect on Guru ji's sikhi . I don't want to fight with you over her stupidity.

I'm sorry for saying what I said and how I said it , it was a shock to see someone I respect saying stuff like that , my best judgement wasn't there and I said something brash and hurtful at that moment .

Why don't you guys just lay off her?

At least she has some sort of interest in Sikhi and wishes to identify as a Sikh.  Would you be happier of she cut her kesh, stopped expressing any sort of allegiance to Sikhi, and became another completely nonreligious punjabi girl?

If someone is gravitating towards Sikhi in any way, let's try to encourage that and be inclusive instead of nitpicking and pushing them away.

If you don't like the way that she is doing something, show a different/better example yourself.

MOD EDIT

Thank you for apologizing.  Anoop caur has a photo with her top off and she is tying a dastar.  She may have deleted it off of her Instagram but many people still have the picture.  Here it is

She is not promoting sikhi.  But misrepresenting sikhs.  She is perverted.  She is using outrageous acts as a way to get attention.  If she was graviting toward sikhi then she would not be half naked tying a dastar in a photo.  She does not say that she made a mistake.  She fully believes what she is doing as correct and according to sikhi.

Why do people always have to include such feedbacks?

what makes one think that we are perfect? Why can't a person simply comment on the doings of another?

If you this is sikhi-congragulations. She is well promoting it. These women on social media are the reason why people view sikhi so lightly.

Brainwashed much.

As I've said before, you bibiya with your heads screwed on straight need to step up and put the record straight. Don't throw Singhs under the bus because you struggle to find your voice. Each time a male speaks up in these kind of instances, he's going to be rounded upon immediately.

They shut us women as well. Telling us that the sikhi is between them and guru ji. So much for a panth-sisterhood.

that's why they've made it a closed shop activity because ordinary Kaurs may rock the boat of their self-delusion of 'leadership' 'expression' and question their attitudes . It is definitely NOT about sisterhood in any sense

I owe you an apology. I actually thought you were a guy for ages, your name says singhni but I always missed the "ni"

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
