The Gurus gave sikh women equality in terms of respect... they were not given complete gender equality which blurs the lines of which role(s) & attributes each gender has been created to fulfill.

Sikh women and men are equal too the point that both were created by Akal Purekh.... that's as far as it goes. The roles & duties for each are seperate & distinct.

Are you saying that on Sikhi men and women have different strengths that compliment each other?

That would mean Akal Purakh has created a balance.

This would make sense as it is line with Sikhi.

So tell me why does their gender matter? Does their caste matter? Should we only allow those from the castes who volunteered that day? How about skin colour? Should no white singhs be allowed since no white singh volunteered heir head that day? Why is it only gender matters???? And please use Gurbani to support your answer.

If Guru Sahib made 5 caste name Singhs then yes but Guru Sahib did NOT. It was 5 Singhs thus it will remain 5 Singhs.

According to your logic you want the gays and the khusre to be allowed Amrit and Anand Karaj because the jot is same and aama is one with Akaal and genderless? Lol

And please use Gurbani to support your answer.

this is also why women were put in parchaariks roles as their komalta and emotional intelligence would help them get the message past people's hardheadedness with prem not confrontation.

I do agree the female methods of communication can be effective.

There is a youtube clip of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton played by two actors but Donald Trump was played by a woman with his mannerisms and exact same script and Hillary Clinton played by a man.

A lot of people commented how much more persuaded they were.

Yes, that's how it is, the whole cosmos is designed perfectly.

Akal Purekh created Brahma & gave him the ability to create within what Akal Purekh had already created (maya)

Akal Purekh created Vishnu & gave him the duty to preserve what Brahma creates within that which is already created & preserved by him

Akal Purekh created Shiva & gave him the duty to destroy what Brahma created & what Vishnu has been preserving.

As you can see they all have different roles, attributes & duties that they have been assigned... but what is the one thing that makes them all equal?... it's the fact that Akal Purekh created them all that makes them equal but not the same.

Apply this to the whole of creation...including men & women

    • Do you have sources for this?
    • In urdu we also use 'Mauze' so i doubt if it is hindi word.It sounds like a persian one.Indians have problem prouncing words which end with sound 'z'.Just like Mumtaz Mehal became Mumtaj Mehal and now just Taj Mehal.
    • i have no issue using persian, hindi, english words in my day to day conversations in punjab.I just though a good opportunity to learn "shuddh" punjabi.
    • Sikhism needs neither a reformation nor a philosophy of free will. Reformations are for religions that are at a primitive tribal level in the first place. Sikhi starts off with Guru Nanak Ji feeding people langar, and preaching meditation of Satnam. If you start off with capturing war booty and sex slaves killing all the males, yeah, you need a reformation. Philosophy is (mostly) for people trying desperately to understand the universe without real divine knowledge. These types of efforts are called ਸਿਆਣਪਾਂ in Gurbani. (You did you Japji this morning, right?) All of these sianapan don't amount to a hill of beans. We don't have the burning need for philosophy that Westerners do because we can obtain complete knowledge via simran. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਸੁਝੈ ॥
    • it's my fault, i should have phrased things a bit better. Basically based on the data he gathered same sex couples are more likely to settle into a routine and are less likely to do things out of said routine (such as cheating, which according to the data he gathered was surprisingly low compared to straight couples). By similar attributes I mean people like them in terms of personality and taste. In straight couples you can usually note a sort of polarity in the way they behave and their personalities.  Again this is based on one study, nothing official or on a large scale really.
