who cares about some old buddard clinging to a kursi in some hall , his power stems from Akal Purakh's hand and I will only see the anginat blessings that are showered on us everyday in every way

The kids, babies  and youth full of love for sikhi dragging their parents back to Guru ji's charan through the dor of moh.

The sharing of the loads and pressures of the needy by our brothers and sisters across the globe causing recognition of our true nature and praise of the Guru

The multipronged approach to solving our problems ourselves instead of waiting for a hero : environmentally, legally, financially, politically

the use of new tech to circumvent traditional blockages to news, parchaar and drawing together into a world sangat inspiring the home nation from outside the reach of detractors

The mistrust of media, foreign/ non-sikh authors of our history and people returning to source to do own research then sharing that with family and friends

The awakening of the elders to their joint knowledge and rekindling of old sikh ways and traditions in the youth in the villages

The continuous prayers for the chardikala of the panth going on around the globe

The huge number of people signing and letting non-sikhs know about the human rights/water problem in Punjab drumming up world-wide support for the challenge through international human rights court .

The immense blessings of gursikhs who go beyond and make a difference

THESE are the signs to be positive about , it has nothing to do with stupid godless people shifting seats.... besides what can happen to the panth and land blessed by Guru ji's vaak?

Positivity. Why you couldn't have started with that, I do not know. :/

How did congress get back in power in punjab after absence of 10years or more?

Well its quite simple. The Sikh vote was split by the AAP and akali daal made their manifesto about multifaith punjabiyat rather than Sikh orientated agenda thus losing the Sikh popular vote. Many Sikhs disillusioned by punjabi politics stayed away from voting for Akali dal and some voted for AAP as they wanted a change from the corrupt badal mafia family had inflicted alot of damage to punjab.

Then we had the hindu punjabis who instead of voting for the new boys AAP or BJP mostly voted for the anti-sikh congress party thus showing their communal colours.

The hindu punjabi brahmin leaders whipped up anti-khalistan sentiment to scare HP's into voting for congress. Like this <banned word filter activated> anti-sikh hindu demon kali ma worshipper

And the likes of Shiv sena they actively campaigned to get hindus out to vote to elect congress as a snub to BJP but also to rub salt into the wounds of Sikhs.

Remember 40% of tiny punjab is hindu now its possibly close to 50 percent maybe as SGPC has been more interested in maintaining badal familys grip on power than spreading Sikhi convert punjab to 99% Sikh as it should have been.

The pro-khalistan party of Simranjeet mann has been a joke party for a long time now. He is a clapped out old relic that has no influence or power and is clinging on to his leadership of a sinking ship rather than giving leadership to a younger charismatic educated leader to take the movement forward. The one agenda party isnt going to solve the daily needs of punjabi's who are more worried about economy and health than independence into the unknown. His party has no solutions for their daily bread so will never get the popular Sikh vote.

If Sikhs become a minority in Punjab and the Hindu population becomes the dominant population.

The potential scenario would be for the centre to squeeze out the Hindu Punjabi population in favour of bhaiyas, biharis etc.

The Hindu Punjabi may actually regret their decision. No hindu from any other state would do what the HP has done to their own.

Different issues different electorate and constituency.

AAP didnt field punjabi local candidates that the people could relate too and trust.

Plus also people are claiming there was electronic vote machine rigging and voter fraud going on in different states across india but especially in punjab. Who knows the truth but theres interesting videos out there right now like this one

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
