Wjkk wjkf , I am a Sikh who is practicing rehit to take Amrit and I have kept my kesh, but there is a problem, my dad is proud that i have changed from being a guy with cut hair and eating meat but my mom doesn't like me keeping my rehit. I just thought getting slapped about by your moms is a normal experience for Panjabis? I must be too old school.

maa naal ticharan karna sadda kamm , te jhoothian kaana ....Then I must be with you there ...gotta move with the times ajj kal bacche are too soft because they haven't had that experience growing up  so get bewildered like this lad when his mum comes up with utter BS like this .

My MUm used to say to us don't let anyone do beadbhi of your dastar or kesh otherwise you'll have me to worry about as well , don't look at their size or strength just don't accept it EVER, give a good slap so they won't dare again.  My Mum was a great motivator
