The Jews have Israel to go to. There has been an exodus of Jews from France to Israel due to the anti-semitic attacks from North African Muslims.

What you've noted above will be our, as Sikhs in the West, downfall because we simply won't be able to do what you've prescribed.

We have this rather unseemly habit of ingratiating ourselves in the business of others in the West. It would be acceptable to get hot and bothered about such issues if we tackled our own domestic matters with as much passion as we do the issues of our hosts.

We're barely a dot in the overall picture but we try to punch above our weight instead of being pragmatic and watch the tamasha unfold as dispassionate observers on the sidelines. We wheel out conveniently selective Sikh teachings from scriptures for various Western cause de celebre, but when something that actually affects Sikhs adversely, these same voices suddenly fall silent and are in complete denial.

Maybe the people who are like what you've described above will go down in droves if 5hit ever hits the fan, they'll be on the front lines because they've been pushed as some sort of token by outsiders, maybe other more intelligent, realistic and circumspect types will survive.

Let's grow a silent, smart majority. We can't do much about the guileless type that get carted out and given megaphone for mass consumption, but people at ground level can make a big difference, without all the pulava.  

Look at how the bottom classes have totally changed the direction of so-called, modern progressive nations like England and the US. We can do the same. We've just got to be resolute and strong.
