Akali Kaur Singh was a very important Sikh figure in the first half of the 20th century. He was present in every important Sikh affair and his opinion was very much valued in Panth. He was a very strict Bibeki Gurmukh. He was also very good friends with Bhai Randhir Singh Ji.

'Loh Parkash' was a book written by Akali Hazura Singh Nihang in 1925. He was the Head Granthi at Takht Hazur Sahib. Akali Kaur Singh wrote the foreword to this book. In this foreword, he
provides us with valuable information that the Puratan Buddha Dal Singhs considered the Sarbloh Granth Sahib to be by authored exclusively by Guru Gobind Singh, and that there were only about ten manuscripts in the whole of India. He humbly requests that a King or rich Sikh should take up the service of printing the Sarbloh Granth Sahib.

'Loh Parkash' can be downloaded from www.sarblohgranth.com and can also be found on scribd.com

He was also the tutor of Baba Joginder Singh Ji Moni and also an adept Shastardhari warrior.
