Respect?

Do u guys think that shaheeds and their families get enuf respect? I mean, surprisingly even some Sikhs call the karkus terrorists. The words pierce my ears like arrows and pain my heart. After all their kurbanis people have no better words than "terrorist". Must b something to do with the highly biased hindu media at the time. I had one in my extended family (my happiness knew no bounds when I found out).

what do u guys think?

Only up to their direct kids and parents, but not any further than that. (Above isn't actually a Sikh view but rather personal opinion, as Gurmat gives absolutely 0% importance to family relations).

I think the Bazurg, SInghnis and children should be respected and looked after as our own as they have given their support away to the panth ... those menfolk who are the same age but didn't contribute I would be wary of as they obviously didn't feel the same as their sibling.

I agree with u. Some of the families r poor n need support.
