When Singhs do take steps to punish those who do beadbi then sadly we have loads of people who become very sensitive and say the Singhs are talibans. We saw this happen on this very forum with the satkar committee and ajnala Singhs being condemned because they take practical steps to stop beadbi

It is possible to make moves discreetly without all the 'BWAAAAAH' attention generating bull5hit. But our people are too dumb and unsophisticated for those types of things.

Ludhiana is home to perhaps the largest concentration of muslim bhaiye outside of U.P. and Bihar. There are rife antisocial problems associated with this group and the city's hindus have frequently fought with them as a result. The incredible thing is that our Singhs out there have consistently taken the side of the paedophile cultists, because of their sjw fallacy in the mistaken belief they are protecting them. This is the gratitude, appreciation and respect that we receive in return as a result from the same muslims that we shielded.

We need to stop acting like the big arbiters of everybody else's business - because we are not. Let them fight each other. Let them have it out. We should actually appreciate the hindus fighting these scum because they are doing our job for us.

Getting involved in other people's fights is just plain stupidity. They are not going to become your friends. In the case of muslims though this is doubly stupid. You will simply enable and embolden them to attack you instead. No matter how much milk you feed a snake it will take your kindness as weakness and bite you.

These paedophile cultists don't respect us as a result of us helping them out otherwise they wouldn't have done Beadbi of our Guru Ji in our own homeland so blatantly time and time again.

I agree with your thinking.

We Sikhs must be smarter in these matters. Both sides (Hindus and Muslims) are as bad as each other and won't think twice to attack Sikhs if the opportunity arises.

The Sikhs of Old did the same thing. You need to know how to pick your battles.

Well said. If we look at how Sikhs of old were and Sikhs of now. We can see indoctrinated liberalism has been the slow poison thats been killing our community in punjab never mind drugs/alcohol. In the meanwhile our opposition are getting more nationalistic and right wing and intolerant of the other.

Sikhs used to be very intolerant and violent of the other during the might of the Sikh misls and eventual rise of the empire by maharajah ranjit singh. The decline came when Sikhs started to fight each other because of the allowance of hindu punjabis, muslims and white non-sikhs into their positions of power in their government and country. Had the Sikhs been more like muslims or more like banda singh bahadur and forced muslims to convert to Sikhi or be killed then we would have seen our empire and our influence stretch into persia in no time but brahminwad got a grip of ranjit singh early on and he allowed the dogras in who in turn were determined to undermine Sikhs and uplift their own dogra community and as a result we can seen hundreds of years on the muslims have retaken most of what was the Sikh empire and afghanistan is a islamic hell hole, so is kashmir and is pakistan. All because of the trust Sikhs placed on non-sikhs and allowing them in our internal affairs...

This. It is indoctrinated liberalism that is the real problem. The drugs epidemic in Panjab (as harsh as it may sound) is merely a symptom not the cause. The sooner we realise this the sooner things can improve.

Our elders recognised that liberalism is a foreign ideology that has no place in south asia let alone Panjab that is bordered on all sides by enemies. Any kaum that tries it there will be easy pickings for other kaums that do not merely pay lip service to their holy books but moreso actively make them the centre of their lives and take instruction from the koran or the gita.

When we tackle the root cause these symptomatic problems will disappear. That is proven strategy that has historic relevance. It happened before our very eyes only just over 30 years ago when a certain Mard (Sant Sipahi) roamed through Panjab unchained and reversed the communist liberal brainwashing of our youth under the excuse of punjabi culture. Our youth that today habitually consume all sorts of imported gundh would decline even tea. This ethical victory didn't happen because of drugs or alcohol awareness programmes. It happened because of dharam. Dharam Bina Sab Dhalle Malle Hain.

When it comes to satkar of Gurus, Sikhs need to be like puratan Singhs. Just think how would Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, Akali Phula Singh or Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale react to beadbi.

Just look at the example of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. When Ram Raiyas of Amritsar had insulted a Singh who had read Dasam Bani Chaupi Sahib. When Baba ji found out, he could not tolerate this insult against Bani. He led an army and severly punished the Ram Raiyas. Contrast this to today where we have become so relaxed that beadbi is done of Bani where heretics insult Bani by calling our Banis as kanjar Bani. It is due to our weakness that Bani us being insulted by heretucs(missionaries) with words and non Sikhs who rip angs of Bani.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
