Sikh temple in Vilvoorde has closed indefinitely

Sat 09/10/2016 - 09:52  Wim Deloof Mayor Hans Bonte (SP.A) the Sikh temple in Vilvoorde has closed indefinitely. There was a fight between different groups which it is no longer safe. It is not the first time that there are problems with the temple.

Last Sunday was almost out of hand and the police had to intervene massively. There are also rumors of smuggling in the temple. Bonte now wants that first of all is clarity about who is in control in the temple. Ten Sikhs live in Vilvoorde but because of its central location the temple attracts hundreds of Sikhs from all over Flanders.

I find this really suspect because it was always the mayor's intention to shut down the gurdwara ...from when they found illegals were coming for langar ...now they are putting fake-<banned word filter activated> smuggling daub on sikhs to achieve this after the gurdwara had already agreed to overnight closure (20.00- 07:00) so already no chance for rensabhais, akhand paats, or keeping of Guru ka langar maryada plus the other condition of identity searches of all coming and going ...is this not harassment of the highest order? Honestly if the sikhs are arguing it would probably be about the situation ...
