Sangat Ji,

After working out and then freshening up; do you also do kesh ishanaan as well? After do you let it dry naturally or hair dryer? I need some tips that can make this process a bit faster. In my case, it will take at least 2-3 hours after each workout but I have classes to attend as well. Please advice on tips.

Thanks

Well I used Hair Dryer. It did not find using Hair Dryer as great as natural hair drying. Your upper part of your hair seems warm but when you stop using it for a while you could still feel your inner hair wet. I used to get headaches sometimes when I went swimming with class long time ago then I had no choice but to use a hair dryer.

tip with hair dryer : wrap kesh in towel and wring it out by twisting from base to end then go for the blow dry .start at roots and make sure they are bone dry before working on the length to the ends this will speed things up plus nothing says you cannot move your hair vigourously with your free hand to expose inner hairs to warmth. I would take a seperate sports towel to dry hair (microfibre)

What's next? Seriously. You guys ask Everything. Do you need to be guided by orthodox Sikhs when it comes to your hygiene? If they all disapprove of you taking a shower in a common bathroom where god forbid a Muslim/ Christian had a bath, then what? Would you not take a shower ?

It seems like you hold very negative view towards sikhs. Any particular reason?
