HONESTLY, what are the chances of myself, a Singhni with a little facial hair (not willing to remove or bleach), finding a decent Singh who will be fine with my Kes. Wherever my Kes is.

This is not the case of finding the king of diamond when we select a single card from the deck of 52 cards, its marriage and is pre written, also called sanyog.

the God who gave u hairs, will certainly have plans for ur marriage too.

dont worry and waste the precious-precious time for things that were/are not in ur control.

???

Agree, there is somebody for everybody if it's in their karm.

There are many married women with facial hair nowadays than before, so don't put extra stress on yourself. It's hard enough finding a partner for marriage, let alone the extra things to worry about.

The guy you marry should see you for who you are and your soul and personality. If you don't wish to do something to please another that will hurt you, then don't.

Have you tried the Sikh matrimonial sites that are put on this forum?

I can understand as I am in the same boat. How often do we find men approving of women having facial hair? You getting on this forum and asking this question highlights our patriarchal society where women are supposed to look like "women" & behave like women.

Its your life. If it impacts your life, please do whatever you want. Bleaching can make them less visible. Laser would zap them for a longer time. I don't believe our Gurus taught us to live under a rock. Every soul should have a saying when it comes to their own life. Who are we, mere mortals, to dictate each other's lives by twisting and tweaking guru's teachings to fit our opinions?

sis , you are doing what you are accusing others of ....If we are sikhs we FOLLOW Guru ji's instructions  and that's it .
I have facial hair too and my husband still liked me enough BECAUSE of my sikh character to marry me ...so it is possible to have that blessing in your life , trust Akal Purakh and your Guru ji , give this problem up to Him .
