apparently she was arrested in relation to Beadbhi of Guru ji , she was accused of tearing Guru ji's angs and was awaiting trial , was put on bail release and this happened . Please we must remember they arrested Jaswinder Singh and his brother for the same despite Jaswinder's spine injury during police lathi charge ...the real culprits are being protected and innocents rounded up . It wouldn't surprise me if like the man who was killed by his accomplices she had been disposed of because she knew who was responsible.

Guru Ji's saroop beadhi should carry the death sentance no if no but.....however it should only be carried out after a fair trial. The only exception should be unless someone catches the anti-sikh person in the act of attacking Guru Ji's saroop then its fair gain for them to be killed but then that person must prove that the killed person was guilty of the crime against Sikhi so CCTV evidence should be used monitoring Saroops at all times.

We know how corrupt punjab police and badal government is. They usually round up some innocent and have them charged or randomly killed rather than attack the real culprits usually their hindutva allies who are known to attack other peoples religious scriptures.

I don't agree with that.. Most beadbi doers are mentally unstable, they need a treatment to be cured, not to be killed.

Treatment is all well and good but Anti-Sikh extremists are mentally unstable as Guru Ji harms no one and wishes well for all humanity. Liberal nonsense letting attackers go free will open flood gates to everyday beadhi.

There can be no excuse for harming our Guru. It must carry fatal and dire consequnces for those who attack our faith. SGGS Ji is thousand times more more valuable than the Quran or Bible to abrahmics as the saroops are limited in number and its like a living form of Guru Ji in a book. We as Sikhs can not tolerate anyone who harms our Guru.

I see what you are saying, but all women are supposed to be seen as mothers to us, and killing a mother is one of the greatest paaps.. In the photo you can see the lady is wearing a kara too, maybe she was framed? God knows what really happened. All I am saying is that they should have a treatment, and if they actually are sane then they should just go to jail.. I don't want my Sikhi to be known as Islam where they kill anyone against it..

Women and men are equally good and equally evil there is no preference of one gender being higher than the other in Sikhi.

Several women in history have been very evil and deserve more than just death such as Indira gandhi was a monster who caused genocide of Sikhs and attack on darbar sahib, maregret thatcher was a monster who attacked argentina, aided racism against non-whites, gave support to indira gandhi to attack Sikh civilians, supported general pinoche of chile. Countless women in power in history are monsters and countless everyday women we see in life are monsters just as men of criminal mind are also monsters.

Female gender should not cloud the jugdgement of the Sikh. We look at deeds, behaviour and activities of the person not their gender when coming to a judgement about an individual not whether they are a mother, father, daughter, sister, brother, husband, wife.

Context and case by case circumstances are everything so we cannot apply blanket rules from misal times all across the board as history shows different level of engagement with opposition from Guru sahib (ie- dealing with aurenzeb).

In this particular incident she shouldn't have killed as a) we failed to investigate further b) asses her mental state c) give her chance to speak- why she did this heinous crime. d) turn this tragedy to positive help her rise from mental/anger issues have her do sehaj patt of same dhan dhan dhan sri guru granth sahib that she did beadhi off and ask her where is the enemy? Show the world, set that as precedence how trans-formative dialogue can be, direct interaction with Guru sahib be.

Anyone can kill enemy straight especially helpless yet grossly misguided woman, it does not show much bravery but rather it shows ones fear, impatience, being slave to anger, self righteous mixed with ego (this gives ego cocaine type high boast), hyper tension/paranoia. Now engaging with enemy where one can start dialogue now that is bravery shows patience, openness, underpinning of dya-compassion and courage.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
