Porn Addiction 6 Years How To Stop

Jesus rose from the dead and appeared to hid disciples. This means that he conquered death. Therefore he is not in the churasi. Anyone who believes in him wholeheartedly will not fall into churasi.

Sikhi however has had gurus with greater kamayi. However Jesus was the first to give shahidhi. There is a gap of 1500 years between Jesus time and Sikhi developing into what we know it today. It was possibly during this time that our Gurus were doing their kamayi and bhagti.

The problems we faced were greater than what people were facing in the times of Jesus.

Jesus spent only 3 years preaching. Guru Nanak dev ji spent all his life preaching. The nine gurus who followed refindd the message for us to a great extent.

What will apologising for your past life as a Christian do or achieve? Nothing. Salvation without doubt is gained by being born as sikh and doing great kamai. It is not an easy path.

Eh teri ausar eh teri vaar. This is your chance - don't loose and make the most of it for who knows what we will be born as next. It is a continuity as the lord can choose which caste or joon he wishes us to be according to our deeds. An example is Ravidas ji who did great seva in his last janam. However because it was raining a bit too hard he borrowed some item from the house of some women whom his Guru had forbidden him to go to.

Because of his one mistake he was cursed to be born in low caste chamaar.

This is an amazing website for all to fight their addictions. http://yourbrainonporn.com/

You can also connect with other people who are trying to stop porn by joining no-fap on reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/NoFap/

also

1) Keep yourself so busy in productive things that you are never bored. Boredom, depression & feelings of worthlessness causes further negative cycle. Avoid self pity, man up & get on with it. Try to stay in active mode.

2) Try to wake up early, do not watch anything after 10 PM.

3) Most importantly work your legs. Do squats and get into lifting slowly. Exercise will help with mood & overall well being.

Often the cause of porn & masturbation is not the desire itself. It is often compounded by other feelings of depression, inactive lifestyle, no motivation & feelings of worthless.

Stay in Chardikala!

If your going to believe in the Pakhandi Baba, go ahead nobody is stopping you. But he can't save anyone, his Haumai is directly in the Bible: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me." (Bible, the book of that Baba). You seem to be confused whether Sikhi is the only way or not, in the beginning you say these followers aren't in 8.4 million lifecycle, but later you say only Sikhi can help, Daas is at least trying to be consistent. The Pakhandi Baba Missionaries will only easily get people trying to follow Sikhi because while helping with guy with a serious problem, your actually saying Jesus can save people. Also our Gurbani says this: "ਜਬ ਲਗ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਰਹੇ ਨਿਆਰਾ ॥ jab lag khhalasa rehae niara While the Khalsa stays true,

ਤਬ ਲਗ ਤੇਜ ਕੀਉ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰਾ ॥ thab lag thaej keeo main sara I will offer my full support

ਜਬ ਇਹ ਗਹੈ ਬਿਪਰਨ ਕੀ ਰੀਤ ॥ jab eih gehai biparan kee reeth When they follow the ways of others,

ਮੈਂ ਨ ਕਰੋਂ ਇਨ ਕੀ ਪ੝ਰਤੀਤ ॥ main n karon ein kee pratheeth I will withdraw my assistance from them." (Khalsa Mehima) Also Bhai Gurdas always said the importance of Sikhs, and how blessed they are: "ਬੇਦ ਕਤੇਬਹੁ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਜੰਮਣਿ ਮਰਣਿ ਅਲਿਪਤੁ ਰਹਾਈ।

Bayd Kataybahu Baaharaa Janmani Marani Alipatu Rahaaee.

बेद कतेबहु बाहरा जंमणि मरणि अलिपतु रहाई ।

The Sikh (gurmukh) goes beyond the holy books of the Hindus and Muslims i.e. the Vedas and the Katebas, and neither rejoices at a birth nor mourns at a death." (Bhai Gurdas Vaar 5 Pauri 14)

Singh ji I think we should refrain from belittling anyone.. I am not saying that you are, but all are from Sri Paramatma ji. Let people say what they want, but do not fall into the trap of agreeing to slander as others do in this forum/duniya. I'm saying this because I care, Singh ji.

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh, Daas doesn't have any interest in doing anyone's Nindak, as doing so would take away Daas positive qualities away as a Sikh of the real Guru, (Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji). Also Khalsa doesn't do Nindak, (Daas certainly don't want to lose my qualities to a pakhandi baba with none of them).

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh! Daas is done with this Jesus argument, do believe what you guys want; while Daas will stop wasting his time on this pointless argument, and will try replying back if the person with their problem needs extra assistance. (Hopefully being more beneficial). Bhul Chuk Maaf Karni, Forgive any Mistakes from Daas, (giving praise to Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji is not a mistake). Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

Thx for all the advice you guys have been giving i know we kinda went into another topic but all they positive advice was good. I havent been able to wake up at amrit vela i can like barely wake up around 10am- 11 am somtimes i wake up at 9am. i uscually sleep pretty late like 1 or 2 at night, i know i need to sleep earlier. Like i really wake up late today so probally only able to do like japji sahib and one more short bani like tav prasad or benti chaupui. Srry if i get wrong spelling i dont have best english.

I have delayed learning basically takes me longer to learn anything like 2x longer and takes more practice, and my focus is really weak.

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh! You have to start from where you feel comfortable starting, along the way the goal is to do both Nitnem and Simran of Gurmantar and Mool Mantar. For Sangat; I'd recommend you find some people interested in Bhagti and tell them to help you, in case you don't live near a Gurdwara or what not. For Amrit Vela, just ask Guru Sahib to bless you, (no other real advice. Also if you don't know how to do the Paht; I'd recommend listening till you get used to it. Like there is simran classes i am just afraid i am a really bad man Manmukh, like use too go there like ever sat/sun, with full Khalsa uniform and everything and people may say look at him now like i still have my hair and turban and kirpan and all my 5k's i just dont wear the Khalsa clothing yet. But i am willing to try if it can help, one other problem i have learned is that i like to leap to things but i need to learn how to slowly progress, like for example i will randomly wake up for amrit vela even thought i havent done it like for 5-6 months and do all nitnem with waheguru simran and mool mantar then start going to gurdwara like every day for like mabnye 2 weeks or so and do seva there etc, i mostly take things to extreme lengths and i dont know how to slowy progress, it looks like i just wanna get Eternal bliss forever like right now, which is probally now possible, becuase i think most saints had to do lots of bhagti to reach Waheguru

Also should i ask the sangat to help me or just go to the gurdwara were there is sangat and just start listening to kirtan, katha etc in sangat becuase usually its not a english katha that is going on

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh! There is no high or low in the House of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji; in the same way Sajjan Thug and Bhumia Chor got saved; so can you. Don't focus too much on the Sangat judging you; everyone is trying to learn at their own pace. Whatever level you start; try to keep it consistent, and grow on a steady pace; whether that is fast or slow is up to Vaheguru. Some days we are spiritually strong like nothing else; other days we are the weakest spiritually, but that is why we have Nitnem. You can ask the Sangat that you seem to trust to provide you with assistance; but try to focus on the little things and grow from there. If you know nothing at all; simply focus on being in the presence of the Vaheguru; and Jaap the Naam quietly in your head; do some Seva. We are all children of that one Vaheguru, and we will all grow at our own pace; accept that sometimes it will be slow and sometimes it will be extremely fast; but we should still grow, not decline. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

Sounds like you are living in Loneliness, It can become a problem. I asked my Doctor about this and he suggested that I should get a wife and get married. Instead I started to Sing Japji Sahib and started to do Asa Kee War Keertan and it is helping along with my work. I don't do any sangat. My problem started when I was living at home. I felt lonely and unwanted by my parents and my family. I went through a lot. I hit myself for this sometime ago. Then I realized take things easy. Don't force yourself when your mind is ready to do Gurbani then things will fall into place. If your mind realizes that you must blend into Gurbani then all will be well. Don't listen to any Katha, If you do not know the meaning of Gurbani its okay it brings vibrations that you can not imagine.

    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
    • Good way of putting it, bro. One of the ongoing themes of Gurbani is the fake saint. Whether it's fake babas in Punjab or English-speaking personalities in the West, it's an continuing problem of religion through the centuries (and it's not exclusive to us by any means, this applies to all human societies).
    • First of all, while it's true that Gurbani says slandering a Saint has such-and-such effects, you can't do the reverse: You can't look and your situation and know for certain what caused it. We're not encouraged to mope over our situations but rather to accept the hukam (will). The last line of the very first pauri of Japji Sahib says to live in hukam: ਹੁਕਮਿ ਰਜਾਈ ਚਲਣਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਨਾਲਿ ॥੧॥ hukam rajāī chalanā nānak likhiā nāl .1. O Nanak! By obeying, the pre-ordained order of the Lord's will. Secondly, the astpadhi from which you quoted the Sant ka dokhi verses has this verse at the end: ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਆਪਨ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇਇ ॥ jis nō kripā karai tis āpan nām dēi . God gives His Name to those unto whom He shows His mercy. So ask for his mercy. Also check out the 7th Astpadi, which talks about the good effects of the sangat of a Sadhu: https://khojgurbani.com/shabad/271/709?highlighted_scripture_id=12007&highlighted_scripture_lang=gurmukhi&selected_content=gurbani I'm not getting into who is a "true" Sadhu in this post.
    • In langar it should be common sense for peopel to find a suitable space to sit. Normally in my local Singh Sabha gurdwara, there is enough space to sit, so I am able to find a space with enough space away from other people. There have been a few times, where there has been a lot of sangat and I have been forced onto a table.  In Slough and Southall Singh Sabha, Park Avenue, I will just sit near another group of men unless I am with family, but again there shouldn't be strict gender separation and instead common sense logic.
    • Yeh I could do to be honest. It's not really chardikala to be coming from the diwan hall and then sangat putting on shoes to go langar. I like sitting in the gurdwara with family, and there are spaces for this in bigger gurdwaras such as Slough, Southall, Coventry. In my current local area gurdwaras this is not really possible for weekly sangat, and also not for sangrand and gurpurb. Need to complain about these tendikalaUK practices  to be UK chardikala Singhs!
