Sikh Youth Stabs Woman With Kirpan

Blunt or sharp doesn't make it acceptable to use Kirpaan to attempt to kill a woman.

Mr Sihota was 22 year old MMA learnt Singh who is stocky and 5ft 10.

I agree a Parker Pen is extremely dangerous, but my point is that he has bought the article of faith into disrepute.

UK law is you are not allowed in public with weapons except Sikhs.

Politics is changing and if there is a public outcry because there are regular incidences of Gurdwara riots, brawls and fights using ceremonial kirpaans and the personal kirpaan then you will be the laughing stock of the world when statutory restrictions will be imposed.  Just like Rastafarian cannot consume Marijuana.

Going around with 4 Ks, Sikh without Kirpaan is a sheep.

Sikh should never lose his cool otherwise don't wear Kirpaan

you think what Mr Sihota did was credible, lawful and religious.

People get wrongfully accused all the time, an example is a black person would be more likely randomly pulled over simply for being black in some parts of America. Also the fact that Hispanics and Blacks are more likely to get arrested for smoking weed compared to white people despite all 3 groups taking Marijuana in roughly the same amount.

It's the same in UK

Real talk. If things ever got nasty over here in England. To the point where Sikhs had to fight back with their kirpans. I can pretty much guarantee goray will rapidly produce legislation to end that party. Or make them even more useless and symbolic than the ones many people generally wear today.

Probably something like plastic blunt ones or something.

Stop spreading these Manmat stories about the Kakkars! We don't even know the full story and you are already picking a side. Worst thing that could happen is this entire thing is a big lie; (people already got brainwashed from too much t.v. when some Singhs were playing with their Kirpans in the Akal Takht a few years ago; even though nobody died). Daas makes a Benti not to disrespect the Kakkars, by posting these things.

How is this disrespecting Kakkars?... Hiding or running doesn't help, so why just choose to be ignorant about this?

By the way, if he was in the wrong it is who he who disrespected Kakkars, not OP for posting this. Let's use logic here, not emotion.

turning a blind eye is how the state of sikhi got so bad in our parent's time, how the grooming problem got out of hand , how sikhs got into gangster /drugdealing  activities etc . What is wrong , is wrong and should be learnt from , the guy needs visits from sikh chaplain in  porridge and do more vichar of gurbani to learn the true path and work on his 5 chor . Yes he should not have used his kakkars in anger that was his fault and he has the effect of that , he will pay his debt from now on, but it is our job to help our brother to rejoin the path and renew his efforts in the right direction and help others who may not have the awareness of their triggers before something untoward happens

Are you saying Sikhs can't be wrongfully accused by racists like this judge?

Racist?

Of course this judge is racist, you can never rightfully accuse a Khalsa because Khalsa is pure. This judge probably hates Hispanics and Black people as well.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
