How Would You Convience People That Khalistan Is To Their Advantage?

If you came across a Sikh and a non-sikh in india who is skeptical about khalistan and wondering why they would need it. What would be your arguments to convience them yes an independent khalistan is a good idea as opposed to them living in the Indian union? India is a major world power now and has a space program. It has long established trade, diplomatic and military ties with countries around the world.

The simple and generic argument that sikhs need a country are not really going to help deliver results. People need to know economically they would be better of and how, their rights protected and how, their daily daal roti protected and how, their security protected and how, etc.

I'd start by saying in an independent Khalsa Raj, everyone would be equal and the power would belong to those who try to improve people, no politicians and just sticking to the Punj Pyare.

I personally dont want a khalistan where everyone will be equal in power cos thats a reciepe for disaster a Khalistan needs to be model on the jewish model of israel.

A Sikh state a democratic nation that has all religions people and none but the Sikh state will only work for Sikh interests and the demographics will always be majority Sikh so that no non-sikh can ever change the constitution or carry out anti-sikh agenda's against the state. Which is why all hindus and sikhs were purged from pakistan since 1947 because the islamists do not want non-muslims to have any power or say in the land they occupy. And which is why Sikhs are denied any true power in India because it would mean Sikhs can carry weapons and be free agency to tackle the wrongs they see in society whereas now they have to rely on mostly white british imperalist christian anglo saxon laws of indian authorities and courts to decide which can take years.

Before we can even talk about the politics of a future Sikh nation, we first need a Sikh nation. Until there is actual independence, the politics is all extra-talk. I'd assume most people would become Sikhs if the Prachar was available to them, which would be a start.

Convincing them is going to be as hard as trying to convince them that Amrit/Sikh Baptism is to their advantage!!!!

True, we can't even convince our kids to keep their hair, never mind anything else.

The question is, Khalistan ... or Khalsa Raaj?

Khalsa raj is a very very very long distant dream you can say its a fantasy. Sant Bhindranwale was trying to make Khalsa raj not Khalistan but indian morons kept and keep accusing him of trying to make Khalistan. However sant bhindranwale did say if the army did come into darbar sahib then Khalistan foundation stones will be laid. So now the fight is for Khalistan not Khalsa raj

The Indian establishment didnt want to attack khalistan they wanted to attack Khalsa raj..... khalsa raj is religious concept.....khalistan is political movement. And who opposes Khalsa raj? Its the brahminwad type people who fear their control and rule will slip out of their hands if people become Khalsa's.

Khalistan is a very viable concept and can be operational within a year given the right type of structure. It can be a peaceful Sikh state within the Indian Union with its own regional govt, laws, currency and military forces or there can be a bloodbath battle of independence the choice is for the Sikh kaum to make.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
