That doesn't answer my question. If anything it raises more questions, If the Nihangs made sure every Gurudwara kept prakash of Dasam Granth then when the Singh Sabha took over they obviously stopped it. But the Nihangs kept it going, in other words the people who have more love for it are the Nihangs, so again why would they spear their father's treasure.

If you read through my previous posts, I'm not exactly pro-Singh Sabha, but somebody pierced Dasam Granth and nobody is claiming any side. But to answer that question, it's probably the same with Anti-Pad-Shed folk, who downright insult Non-Larivar Saroops of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, (you'll even find those folk lurking on this forum, claiming love for Guru Sahib). I'm sorry to anyone who hates Pad Shed so much, but I think it's probably the same thing with the Nihangs, they felt the Saroop wasn't complete or something.

The Nihangs wouldn't dare spear a Gutka Sahib let alone a Saroop, why would there be an incomplete Saroop parkashed at Akal Takhat of all places. All of them love Dasam Pita's bani irregardless wheather its within a Gutka Sahib or not. I think you're very confused, I'd rather trust the Nihangs in this as they have evidence for their love of Dasam Granth, Singh Sabha don't.

waa vi waa.... these are the type of people we need in our panth.... intellect like this the panth will definitely flourish (face palm)

We have actual factual evidence that Guru Gobind Singh Jee did Parkash of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji (Bhatt Narbud Singh). Where are these people getting this info that Guru Gobind Singh Jee Patshah did Sri Dasam Granth Parkash and gave both Granths gurgaddi?

Sri Dasam Granth Parkash was only started in the mid-1800's, no earlier source writes that Sri Dasam Granth parkash was done. Another reason why I think this practice of doing Sri Dasam Granth parkash on the same Takht as Guru Jee is man made by us because we now have people doing Parkash of Sarabloh Granth too, this is nowhere written in History. Also, Sri Dasam Granth is not even a standard Granth. Sikhs from back in the day used to make their own Pothis of Dasam Baani that they called the Dasam Granth.

It was only until 1897, under Khem Singh Bedi's (Same Guy who Ran the Singh Sabha) Sodhak Committee standardized the Sri Dasam Granth that is being printed for over a century now.

The Sri Akaal Takht Gurmata from 2008 makes it clear no Granth can be Parkash next to Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj (Share the same Takht Posh).

Second, the people who are saying the Singh Sabha Lehar was a British-supported movement are wrong. This "Singh Sabha British Movement" scapegoat is bakwas, this claim has no proper evidence to support it. The British actually considered the Singh Sabha Lehar as a movement to oppose them (which is was), and they thought the SGPC/Akali-Dal were fanatics.

Dasam Granth was written by Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, it was made with all the banis, (except Zafarnama), before 1699, and Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji wrote Zafarnama, just before Aurangzeb was dead. To the 19th century Brit stanards, anyone not saying their Christian would be a fanatic, specifically Anglican, we have our own standards.

That Bir (from 1698/1755 BK) has simple mistakes, like it saying: ੴ ਸ੍ਰੀਸਤਿਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ॥. Why would a mistake like this be in a Bir from Guru Gobind Singh Ji's time. I'm not gonna rule anything out, but this Bir should get some more Khoj done on it.

The history of Sri Dasam Granth is hazy, we need to do more Khoj on it. If this bir was in access of Bhai Mani Singh, why was he looking around for the small Granths that make up Sri Dasam Granth?

Also, about the Spear Story, lets look at the photo of the Bir:3-c5f5d2f53b.jpg

It looks as if it is Fire Damage or Acid Damage, or maybe Mold, as you can see the Brown Ring Around the Top.

That's definetely mold damage around the wound there.

As for the bir there's multiple saroops of Dasam Granth, all of them excluding Zafernama but they seem to match up just fine. Where did you hear that some of them had mistakes from? would love to see the sources as its pretty intriguing.

It's in the photo:

patna-sahib-beerh.JPG

The Date on the Bir is 1755BK, which is 1698, as we know, but look closely:

It says  ਸ੍ਰੀਸਤਿਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ, you can also see Vaheguru is missing a Sihari before the ਹ.

Also, there is some controversy if ੴ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਹ ॥ is the correct manglacharan, or ੴ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਹ ॥ is the correct one.

The way I see it the red script is Bhai Mani Singh Ji's notes, given that the actual Mukhvaak is started later on, it wasn't really uncommon for poetics to adopt their own Manglacharans as their own sort of mark.

Looking at the bani and how its done it seems to be Bhai Mani Singh Ji taking the date and other things, it actually makes perfect sense given how the process of compiling and getting the Granths down on parchment was done. Again im hyposizing based on what I know and what I'm seeing right now. That Bir (the Patna Sahib Bir) has had extensive research done on it already by learned scholars, all of whom have concluded its authentic.

Top left the writing talks refers to the index of the Granth, When it was written and who's bani it is and then "thy grace" , and then From the Mukh of the tenth master. The actual Gurbani index is written differently than that, rather than looking at the index look at the actual Gurbani within the Granth, that's where the actual Manglacharan from Guru Sahib is.

Padd ched is manmat , and even according to SGPC larivaar saroop is Guru ji's true form , there is a reason Guru Sahiban wrote Bani that way. Since Padd ched had been introduced by SGPC they have tried to 'normalise' manglacharans across the Guru Granth Sahib they print but were caught ...by scholars . In the decades ahead who will do this ? people who accept whatever they mischievously try to pass as true?

    • I don't think bana is necessary. When I went to my amrit sanchar, I was the only person wearing a bana excluding the panj pyare, the rest wore kurta pajama. They will ask you to take off your pajama though.
