Hi

Im a big street fighter fan but i was curious to know and understand this.

The new street fighter will be released in 2 weeks and dhalsim looks good donning a turban and beard.. is this a portrayal of him as a sikh?now i know you could argue that hindus wear turbans too and that would put a end to this question but also in one scene dhalsims son is pictured in a stage having wearing a patka! I dont knw if it is actually dhalsims son but people are saying it is...

Is it okay for these articles of faith to be used? Very hyped for the game tho will get it!!!

If Dhalsim is what he appears to be, that is, a Yogi or a Sadhu, I doubt he'd have a kid in the first place - Hindu ascetics are almost universally celibate.

Probably white people making inferences. Brown kid? Brown man? Must know each other.

The turban is not exciusive to Sikhism. Muslim [Arabs wore it and some still do] Hindus have and do, Yogis and so on. In Africa it is worn as a tribal headgear. He is not a Sikh neither does it state he is?

I searched up Street Fighter 5 Dhalsim, and it is definitely portrayed as a Yogi.

Yes, but it comes under the a Hindu sect (my personal opinion), they worship the same Gods and Goddesses.

I've heard Jains don't believe in Gods. Just because the Indian Constitution calls them Hindus doesn't make it so. (Sikhs and Buddhists are non-Hindus called Hindus as well).
