What should I do?

E I want to be forgiven but I don't want this to happen again it's happend at a time I'm really stressing about other things. Please help me and answer honestly I fall at the feet of the sangat

Wet dreams are not in your control but looking at pictures is as is if you masturbate so don't get to beat up about this do ardas as for forgiveness for looking at picture and also ask for the wet dreams to stop and explain you are weak ( just like the rest of us) , don't be to hard on yourself and don't look at pictures etc or indulge in masturbation .

I would it's a natural and ok thing, (just avoid the dirty pictures whenever you can though), this is highly dependent on a part of growing up. (If your Punj Pyare: the form of the Guru's own body say it's ok then it's ok)

Don't mean to make light of your troubles brother, but not doing anything is why you had a wet dream in the first place.

You should maintain conscious control your urges by masturbating every now and then, or your lust will take unconscious control of you, as you've no doubt discovered first hand.

Masturbating now and again is not a bujjar kurehat, or even something which should require you to go for pesh. It's a way to tap off some of that pent up frustration, and it's a pretty quick fix. Quicker for some than others, lol

Wet dreams are ok because they are out of ur control. Maryada says if u get supan-dosh (wet dreams), do ishnaan, wash kashera, then japji sahib and ardaas. Do this especially if ur goin to tabiya of SGGS. If u want to completely get rid of wet dreams. You will have to control kaam. First of all, this means no giving in to kaam, so no porn, dirty pics, masterbating , dont think or linger on kaamic thoughts, get rid of all tenptations. Secondly, keep a strong pehra (guard) of bani and rehit. Also do so much bani, that ur mind is purified, and is in positivity. You will have to read meanings with bani. Keep good rehit, good lifestyle: exercise, eat healthy, go to good places into nature or gurdwara, dont get stressed etc. Surround urself with bani and goodness so much that kaam cant attack u, even subconsciously.

Dont feel guilty if kaam attacks. Thats its job, u r not ur thoughts. But when kaam attacks, dont give in. Your are liable for ur actions. Kaam is very powerful. Sometimes u will win sometimes it will. But dont give up. Keep fighting. This is the battle a sikh is supposed to be fighting daily: the battle against kaam, krodh, and the mind. Do beantiyan and ardaas when losing.Try doing the shabads in the following topic:

I respectfully disagree, sir. I dont think u should reccomend masterbating. While it is not a bujher kurehit, i think it is still strongly discouraged in sikhi. This why i think it is strongly discouraged:

Firstly, the OP says he got pesh for this and as can be read above the panj did not say its ok, pat him on the back and send him on his way. Instead he had to get chula. So it can be seen that it is not condoned but condemned. You are right that it is not condemned as much as a bujher kurehit, but it still is comdemned.

Secondly, from a logical perspective, masterbating is not a good way to control kaam. It is the easy way out. It gives into kaam. And u will have to resort to this many times. It is not a fix. It becomes addicting. And is a gateway to porn addiction. Yes, ive seen articles on the internet, saying masterbating is healthy etc. And they would say this as date rape and other sexual assualts are on the rise. And so it is healthy if u have no other recourse and it keeps u from suffering long term.

But Sikhi does offer an alternative. Instead of giving in, overcome the root cause, kaam. This is much harder, but long term solutions always are.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
